very nice restaurant with beautiful view. in the upper part of the country offers a simple menu with very goose combinations. very kind and professional staff. we ate outdoors also enjoying the beautiful view of the sea and the village. recommended recommended

We had a lovely night at Fuori Rotta. The chefs 5 courses menu was great. The chef knows how to combine the typical Italian cuisine and local ingredients to a harmonic menu that is rich in flavours and shines in simplicity. The sommelier is experienced and adviced us perfectly. He recommended a local wine, which was worth it all. Thank you a lot for a perfect evening. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. View is amazing but service and food average. Everywhere in Italy you get oil and bread as standard. Where when we asked for more oil (believe me they gave us a few drops each) they acted like we had asked for gold! At no point did any of the wait staff check on our enjoyment of courses or offer any form of service outside of delivering each course to other minimal students engagement. Honestly the whole meal was over priced for what was delivered

Pochi piatti nel menu ma creativi e appaganti, interamente artigianali. Atmosfera informale in una via tranquilla e laterale 'fuori rotta '? rispetto al corso principale affollato di turist-traps. Possibilità di menu degustazione a 40 euro con 2 antipasti-primo-secondo e dolce. Noi abbiamo ordinato à la carte: antipasto di ricciola marinata da provare assolutamente, 2 primi, tutti e 3 i dolci, 2 calici di vino e acqua. Totale 89 euro ben spesi. Bravi

My wife and I had an amazing experience at dinner here as we dined outside on the terrace overlooking the town. We got the chef’s choice coursed out dinner with the wine pairing and each course was amazing. We don’t usually like seafood, but loved the seafood here. We had dinner as the sun set and the town lit up. It was fantastic. My recommendation here would be to reserve early and ask for a table on the terrace outside, well worth it and looked like a better experience than eating inside the restaurant itself. View menu

Racist Waiter?! We walked from the train station all the way to this restaurant hoping to get the sea view shown in the reviews. However, the view is disappointing because you cannot see the sunset. But that’s not the worst part. While browsing the menu, a tall Caucasian waiter (brunette, short hair) rudely snatched the menu from our hand, turned away, and asked us to refer to the glass display. We just arrived at the restaurant, and his rude, abrasive behaviour towards us is likely due to us not being Caucasians? His behaviour toward us was so upsetting that we walked away immediately. I advise all non-Caucasians to AVOID this place!

The pictures of this restaurant and the views of Riomaggiore are outstanding. However, read the menu before you come here because 4/5 in my party couldn’t find anything on the menu we wanted to eat. Completely inaccessible I am admittedly not the most adventurous of diners but can always find something that I will enjoy. Not here. We left to the anger of the pretentious chef. In addition, outdoor seating is not guaranteed and not given the option when you book so take your chances. If you are into this type of food and get lucky to be outdoors you may have a great night. We opted for another spot in town and had a great meal that everyone enjoyed lesson learned will read the menu first next...

Desideravo da tempo visitare e conoscere Riomaggiore e desideravo farlo con un 'esperienza culinaria che sublimasse il momento. Fortunatamente al 'Fuori rotta ' questo è giusto quello che è successo. Eravamo in due e abbiamo optato per il menu degustazione accompagnato da bollicine invecchiate secondo metodo ancestrale. Dal tataki di tonno al guazzetto di seppia. Dalla carbonara di pesce al polpo per non parlare dei dolci, l 'esperienza è stata sublime. Ogni ingrediente apportava una nota essenziale e distinguibile.
