"We held our wedding breakfast here on 22 Sept 2015 for a small group after travelling from England to be married in Tobermory. We booked the venue based on trip advisor reviews back in November and after travelling to Mull in December to finalise arrangements in person we knew we'd made the right choice. Helen is so helpful and friendly. She closed the restaurant for us from other guests to allow us to bring our dog (for which we are eternally grateful and cooked our 2 year old her favourite sausages and mash Helen and her waitress (sorry I forgot her name! were marvellous, they made everyone feel welcome. The food and wine were exceptional, and portions so generous none of the group ate a thing for the rest of the day! We will definitely be returning when we next visit Mull. We cannot praise Hebridean Lodge or its staff enough. Thank you!"

"I stopped by Tobermory during a cycling trip and found it to be the perfect spot for some photos of the charming "colored houses" lining the waterfront. I enjoyed a delicious latte accompanied by what appeared to be homemade cake. The food was delightful, reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this place!"

"I had visited this restaurant before and enjoyed it, so I decided to return. When I inquired about the vegan options, the waitress mentioned that the bar had more to offer such as mac and cheese and pizza. She was unsure about what was vegan but eventually informed me that the restaurant only had two starters (Poland sticks and soup) and a main dish (sweet potato and cauliflower curry) available for vegans. She also suggested that I could have pizza with vegan cheese, although I was a bit hesitant about that. I ended up ordering the curry, along with rice and chips. While the curry was decent, the lack of variety in vegan options left me wanting more."

"The food at this restaurant is amazing and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. We made reservations for a large group in October and Helen did a great job communicating with us about our menu selections. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully arranged. We loved the expansive dining space and the scenic views. The hospitality shown by Helen and her team was exceptional. I highly recommend dining here if you are visiting Mull!"

"Service was not great and food even worse. We sat outside and there was no menu on the table so I went in to ask for one and was told rudely ‘take one off another table, they are all out there’. My husband then ordered Cullen Skink, which turned out to be Leek and Potato soup as there was no smoked haddock in it or even a hint of a taste of fish. I had Macaroni Cheese which could have been lovely if it has had grilled melted cheese on the top, instead it had a few gratings of cheese on the top which when you got it did add a bit of flavour to the dish. We have not long moved to the island and had been looking forward to going to the cafe as has been following on Facebook and it looked great, but instead were hugely disappointed and won’t bother going again, which is a shame as the fish and chips looked fabulous."
