Good experience, really excellent service, good food quality and fine combinations. Value for money a higher price, but considering the tourist area is understandable. Environment maybe too “cold” for my tastes, overall good experience!

"A wonderful little jewel of a place tucked neatly behind the church in the piazza! I called made reservations in Italian I 'm still learning! :D the night before. Just to be sure I had understood them they understood me, I also texted, in Italian by translator , to their mobile number. They promptly responded that yes, they had understood me my reservation was confirmed for 8pm and 5 people. Our GPS told us to make the right turn at the church in the main piazza of Biancavilla, but truly, it looked like a dead end so we kept going. MAKE THE RIGHT TURN! It isn 't a dead end there is parking on the street. We ended up parking across town walking all the way back. The restaurant is family owned run a very sweet lady her son...as I understood them. We had lovely conversation, in Italian, we enjoyed every moment of it! She showed us through the 'cave ' told us about how they had to excavate it out...quite interesting! The atmosphere of being in an actual cave, as a restaurant, is a unique experience. As you walk in, the bar is in front of you, the unisex WC is to the immediate left and stairs leading down to the main eating area are to the right. Once you go down the stairs the area that they excavated out boasts the cave ceiling/walls , it is a tri level of tables and another small bar. The menu is in Italian with English below it for the appetizers pizzas; there is more on the menu but only in Italian. We ordered salads the bruschetta no tomatoes but with a pesto instead so yummy for appetizers!! For dinner, one of us ordered pasta, one got a calzone the rest of us got pizza. We all loved our dishes! My pizza was half pistacchio and half local sheep cheese/sausage some other stuff IT WAS EXCELLENT!! the sheep cheese pizza is listed right below the pistacchio pizza is 'O Sor/Sar..... ' something. In any case, definitely try it!! It is also reasonably priced as well with the 5 of us, ordering appetizers, entrees and drinks, our bill was about 65 Euro. A great place to take family/friends to enjoy a different type of atmosphere, wonderful food friendly service! We will definitely go back! :D"
