"We enjoyed breakfast here as part of our accommodation at Aparthotels Dresden, so we also decided to have dinner here too. Do yourself a favour and if staying in Dresden, take yourself of the main market, walk minutes around the corner and find this...place. After quite a few weeks travelling and eating hotel/cafe food, we enjoyed the quality and freshness of the food served here. At breakfast time, various small plates of food were on offer and as soon as they ran out, they were replaced with fresh servings all hand prepared. Slices of tomato topped with mozarella, fresh meats, salami and liver paste. Fresh scrambled eggs, not powder mix! Tasty bacon, not over fatty and dried out. Freshly chopped fruit and who could resist the miniature soux-de-la creme with strawberry/chocolate/vanilla cream inside? Or the miniature jam yeast balls rolled in sugar? Decor is old world and adds to the ambience. Dinner was as well prepared on both occasions, we tried venison with red cabbage, pork schnitzel with salad, cabbage roll (with a minced meat filling) and a pork and pear dish. The owner/manager told us that except for the sausages, everything is prepared on the premises the quality is apparent. Prices extremely reasonable which is a bonus."

Awesome food from the region of saxony. Friendly and quick service. Tucked away in a little side street behind the Frauenkirche. Can't wait to go back. Will recommend to friends.

We visited this restaurant for a dinner just by chance but it was rather a positive surprise. It's lively, the staff was kind and very attentive and the meal we chose was well prepared and quickly delivered. The traditional local food we chose is definitely...recommendable.

We went to this place for drinks, there is food served upstairs and a bar downstairs! There was never any staff at the bar! You had to run up and down every time you wanted a drink and even then, they were not too friendly!...We only went there because of the location next to our hotel!

if they are after a great breakfast with a lot of choice, this is the place. Yes, it is not the cheapest per person) the average price is around per person, but the choice is great. it is a buffet with a lot of cold and warm food. it is all you can eat and the staff is very helpful and nice!

at our first visit the restaurant was open, but left, and after a few minutes we went. during the second attempt we were served and the service was friendly and good. the menu was limited, but interesting as we wanted to taste local specialties. the. meal times were good and cheap so the visit was quite satisfactory.

Ok. They hadn't finished the roasted venison when we arrived, and although they advertised a winter chestnut soup, they didn't have it. The service was a little slow. But it's a quiet, low key place that was in the end, more than adequate. Interesting Saxon...dishes, which means a variation on dumplings and pork. A small place, but more than worth a try.

we have booked this restaurant for dinner, based on recommendations that it was not a tourist place and so expects a low-key spot, most locals often and homemade German cuisine. the sourded and pigs were so hard that they were practically unusable. we had to go. How can you screw up German specialties? I feel bad, because I really wanted to like this little place.

After our walking tour we asked our guide for a recommendation for lunch. Traditional decor and local food but tucked down a side street so we would not have found it by chance. No tourists but locals eating so we thought that was a good...sign. Their house specialities were well prepared and very tasty. The waiter was very welcoming and helpful and it was very good value. It is worth finding if you want to try the local food.

"for cross-readers in front of moritz is a very special gourmet temple with many facets, delicious cuisine with mut to new creations and pleasant environment and service. for those who are willing to enjoy more than 100, € for an evening meal to two in a pleasant atmosphere must be an absolute. the gourmet restaurant moritz [hidden link] is located in the middle of the inner old town of dresden, near the church of women in the 5th floor of the 5 star hotel suites [hidden link] on the new market. from the table they have a fascinating view of the dome of the women's church, better still from the beautifully planted roof terrace. the restaurant is very easy to reach from the surrounding parks, as well as from the tram stop old market with lines 1,2 and 4. the rooms are only accessible via the hotel entrance of the suiten rampische street. from the reception they are kindly accompanied by the lift-ins restaurant where they are already expected from its waiter. he immediately takes care of our garderobe and accompanies us to our reserved table, where the placed candle already burns. the waiter looks very pleasant, authentic, researched inconspicuous and very courteous according to ours probably the following a very great training and guidance of service staff. the drinks and the diner card are presented in the form of a sealed letter. after a pleasant waiting period he picks up our order after an excellent recommendation of the appropriate wee. ambiente has several juvenile stylistic elements. also the walls are decorated with very interesting, matching top and beautiful images in modern spachteltechnik. the table decoration is very appealing, in short we felt very comfortable and relaxed in this environment. the magnificent view over the veranda terrace to the Frauenkirche, what do you need more? in the toilet area this cozy atmosphere continues. a coherent concept. the offer of the creative chef sebastian rosenfeld was absolutely convincing, the choice was all the more difficult. my partner decided to replace the small dinner menu 39, €, but let the offered economical cream soup with an interesting starter without problems, at a price of 4,00 €. a delicious pleasure. main course:beef as desired on the point between rare and medium roasted with kartoffel spot, meerrettich foam and pfefferjus a dense dessert: cheese cake without floor, chocolate mousse, vanillesoße a good conclusion. a la carte: appetizer 12, € carpaccio from linumero cornice with argan oil marinated on woken, ray and vets the butterzarte meat crumbling on the bee a delicious start main dish 27, € : crépinette by beelitzer here is absolutely correct price and performance. Unfortunately, this ratio is not given to the drinks M.E, which leads me to a knock. we felt very comfortable in moritz and will certainly offer him another visit."
