"My daughter had visited this cafe at the weekend and recommended it to us. She had taken our 11 month old grandson to see the animals. We ordered cheese and tomato and cheese and onion toastie. We could choose the cheese type and had smoked Caerphilly which was delicious on brown seeded bread. The platter was beautifully garnished with kettle chips and salad with pomegranate seeds. They also have a play area for children and rent out electric bycycles. As I had no understanding of how electric bikes work our host got one out for me to try. I was amazed, as I rode up and down their sloped drive, the boost you get from the motor. I like my decaf coffee, but they didn’t have decaf beans. Our hostess made me an instant and with the hot frothed milk and chocolate on top it was the best instant coffee I have drink in a long while. A lovely place to go with or without children and a host and hostess who can’t do enough for you."

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The kids didn't want to go home! The food was delicious and the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. Looking forward to returning, especially for the delicious iced coffee!

We stumbled upon Gelateria Domingo the Llama at the weekend and couldn't believe we'd never found it before. Lovely Mediterranean feel to it, very colourful and quirky, nice ice creams and snacks, plenty to see and do. A great place to visit on a sunny day.

We stumbled across this place whilst out on a drive and loved every minute. the owners are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble the hot chocolate was out of this world, as were the ice cream sundaes!! My daughter loved playing in the field and on the climbing frame, will definately be going back here

after reading another persons review about this little gem of a place, mum and i decided to go explore, we had trouble finding it at firs,t but then saw the large plastic ice cream on the main road and pulled in to the most cute little place i had ever seen, it has a old fashioned feel with bunting and pastel colours, my children loved the llama, horses and chickens, as well as the playarea, the man that served us was lovely as was the coffee, will be back soon for ice cream sundaes.

I visited the restaurant today and was surprised by the lack of amenities on site despite the 5-star reviews. There were no llamas or other animals, just some chickens. The food was decent, although the toasties were thin and lightly toasted with fillings. The staff seemed overwhelmed and had trouble keeping track of orders, leading to long wait times even for drinks. A more efficient ordering system is necessary. However, the ice cream sundaes were incredible and I would highly recommend them. Overall, the restaurant has a lot of potential and I will definitely be returning.

We were out for a cycle as a family of 5 and the route card (from Ridetheclwyds.com, well out of date) said that we would pass 6 pubs and some village shops lunch en route sorted we thought. However, all bar 2 of the pubs turned out to be closed permanently and the other 2 didn’t open until the evening. Just as the kids started to complain about starvation we spotted this cafe as we cycled by on the way to Maeshafn. 5 delicious toasties later and we were on our way, disaster averted. Thank you Cafe Glan Llyn it’s also a nice touch that you have a free water dispenser with ice and lemon,

We visited on a Sunday during the summer heatwave. There is a decorated seated gazebo area with several tables. We had a choc ice cream cone and 2 sundaes. The sundaes were expertly created and individual to our choice we didn’t want any cream. The sundaes were stunning, we had some crushed amaretto biscuits, fruit and sauce with rolled chocolate. There is a child’s swing and slide, and you can see the llama in the field. There was iced flavoured water on tap, and payment was made when you were finished eating which was a nice touch. The sign on the road says Cafe and there is a 3ft high ice cream cone to help identify you are at the right place we drive past it the first time. We’d happily...

I stopped by this restaurant for a milkshake but ended up trying their delicious coffees, sandwiches, and sundaes (the chocolates on the side were amazing). Everything looked so tempting and tasted fantastic. The service was excellent and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. They have a play area for children with bouncy toys and space to play football, which the kids really enjoyed. There are free-range hens and horses in the paddocks. The setting and decor are beautiful, with bright colors and flowers everywhere. It's a lovely place with delicious treats, perfect for a cycling, walking, lunch, or coffee break, as well as a low-key activity with kids. They are dog-friendly and accep...

I had never heard of this place despite living virtually on the doorstep. I’m so glad I have now, it’s a fantastic place to spend a good couple of hours. There is lots to keep the children amused in lovely surroundings. The quirky ice cream/ coffee area is a nice spot to relax for a while where a decent amount of delicious snacks, ice creams, tea/coffee, cake etc is served at very reasonable prices. The owner and his wife are such a lovely, welcoming couple where nothing is too much trouble for them. My next visit will be my third, my 5 grandchildren ranging from 8 years to 1 love visiting and look forward to going up the hill to see the beautiful Domingo and all the other animals. I’m sure...
