"This spot is a great place for a casual dinner. Gianluca and his brother, Riccardo, greet each guest warmly and make you feel welcome into their restaurant. The menu is very large, offering both meat and fish options. Our food was excellent. We would also recommend ordering the foccacia. It was delicious. The restaurant is quite spacious with lots of parking and located just outside of Bolsena. This was one of our favorite meals in Italy!"

"Di ritorno dal nostro weekend a Chianciano verso le ore iniziamo a pensare dove andare a pranzo, facciamo una ricerca su internet e ci accorgiamo, che da Chianciano, ad Acquapendente le possibilità valide di poter mangiare lungo la strada sono veramente poche. Presi dalla fame, intorno alle ore ci troviamo sulla Cassia nei pressi di Bolsena e ci imbattiamo nell'insegna di un posto dove poterci fermare. Si trova nel bel mezzo del nulla...lungo la Cassia, infatti io mi chiedo, avendo letto altre recensioni, dove abbiano visto il lago ?! probabilmente in linea d'aria è abbastanza vicino.... chissà! L'osteria del lago innanzitutto davanti al locale, la strada è completamente sterrata e non omogenea ed inoltre non ci sono punti d'ombra. Entriamo e chiediamo disponibilità di un tavolo per che ci viene accordata immediatamente (dopo capisco il perché.. ci accomodiamo e consultando il menù veniamo immediatamente catapultati n un ristorante a stelle! Se così fosse stato, sarebbe stata una piacevole sorpresa, purtroppo però, ne la location ne i tavoli apparecchiati con tovaglie di carta e sedie di plastica con ragnatele, corrispondono a questo tipo di categoria, quanto invece piuttosto consoni alla categoria delle osterie. Potrete giudicare consultando il menù allegato tra le foto. Graziosa la location all'interno dello stabile, curata nei particolari peccato non sia stato possibile poterci mangiare! Per quanto riguarda le pietanze nulla di che, la presentazione molto curata ma la consistenza dei piatti a volte si è presentata salata oppure troppo insipida(anche qui allego foto del sale grosso presente nel rombo). Il rombo era palesemente di allevamento e non certo pesce di mare come pubblicizzato sulle insegne esterne al locale. Troppo lunghi i tempi di attesa delle pietanze. Molto gentile il cameriere di sala, molto meno brillante quello che penso sia il proprietario. Dopo di noi sono arrivati altri clienti, probabilmente più affamati di noi, considerando l'orario, che molto probabilmente come noi sono rimasti sorpresi ed incastrati sia dal nome del locale che dalla location esterna. Questa mia recensione spero possa essere di aiuto alle persone che desiderano trovare all'interno di un locale ciò che pensano e non delle costose sorprese."

"This restaurant was close to our apartments. We had lunch here. We sat inside, but the windows were open because it was a beautiful day. I had the truffle (tartufo) pasta, which was very good. My friends had truffle and other past dishes, which they liked. The mixed salad was large and we shared it. Service was good."

"I was Sunday 27 February with the family in this restaurant. We were standing to watch a football game and had booked for lunch in this trattoria on the bolsena lake. recommend the mixed lake appetizer. the first on average, while in the second surely excellent the fried or mixed fried lake even if with a neocele, lactrini, the larger ones should be avoided otherwise they are bitter, so I would taste the cook 5 in a row! the staff was attentive and very kind and the service however great despite the uncomfortable command the dishes arrived at the table in the right time, a plausion for the organization in the kitchen! the bill too salty considering that in 8 not everything we took a full menu except two boys and that my vegetarian nephew took a spaghetti tomato and a cooked vegetables and in 5 we took two courses. in the area of the river, ostia, ladispoli in trattoria of this level is spent from 25 to 30 for a lunch like this. I'm fighting! I wouldn't come back!"

"ristorante semplice ma molto bello praticamente sulla riva del lago. proprietario cordiale ed estremamente disponibile, ha spiegato tutti i piatti del menu in dettaglio e tutti sembravano davvero buono. per provare il pesce locale abbiamo preso la coregone in crosta di patate, molto consigliato!"
