Goldener Stern - Menu

I don't think the atmosphere is so pleasant. It's pretty old and dusty. The boss isn't that nice. The food was good for the price, but I don't have to.

Very friendly atmosphere , the food is good , classical of the area , well made , prices are very reasonable . I came twice in a week without any disappointment , a restaurant to be recommended

Everything was perfect, very kind people and service including the owner, we had a nice talk. Anything you choose to eat is really "ausgezeichnet". We stopped four of us on Sunday evening at about 8 pm View menu

We came here twice on a recent visit to Schwabach - once with a large family group, once just a few of us. They took very good care of us on both occasions. Service was attentive and friendly. The menu offered classic German choices. Portions were beyond generous. We will certainly come again the next time we are in Schwabach!

The Golden Star is now also an ancient restaurant. The menu is French. The dishes are prepared according to modern aspects. i.e. rather light sauces, fresh germs in salad, fresh ingredients, we eat there at different times and have never been disappointed. Also for larger family celebrations the restaurant is very well suited and the kitchen in no way overwhelmed!

I haven't been here for a long time. I assume it's at least as good if not better than at the time. Friendly, flashy operation, very good and abundant food. The supply of guests is a sign for the always good quality. It is recommended to book. I think tonight at the meeting with my former 10. I was looking forward to having some real Germanic cuisine and a cheeky beer or two and I was so glad we went here. The food was superb and so was the beer. The apple juice is a must for a non drinker, my wife thought it was cider as it wasn't sweetened like most juices are and it had a fizz to it. I'd recommend this place highly as the service is good, the food superb and the setting is wonderful.

We visit Schwabach a couple of times each year and have recently discovered Goldener Stern. Having had to travel some distance to reach Schwabach i emailed the restaurant a few days before our visit to see if i could reserve a table. Within a day i had received a reply informing me the table was reserved.We arrived in the evening to find everything in place for our reservation.The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic!Cant wait to go again : )

The Star. Restaurant and Bar in Schwabach. It will be time for a new review here. The Golden Star in Schwabach is no longer available. The last tenants have led the Golden Star for decades, and we have been there more often. The inn had an excellent reputation. In spring 2022, the tenants retired. The restaurant was then rebuilt. It has been open for several months, with a modernized facility and a more modern menu. Now it's the star. The Franconian classics (e.g. Schaufle, Tafelspitz) are fortunately still on the menu; but also many other dishes looked very good when they were taken to the neighboring tables (we were at the Schaufle and Cordon Bleu).
