Staff were pleasant and efficient. The food was lovely and it was good value.

Dined here Tuesdays lunch time,fish and chips were the best I have had in a while, prices reasonable, service was speedy and friendly staff

Went in a few days ago, food was amazing as usual and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely the best in the area and no one compares to the quality of this place.

Myself and Dave who has MS and is in a wheelchair. Have been 3 times and the service has been excellent. The food was lovely and couldn't get any better. Thank you Tony and Dave

First visit .potentially good but chips overdone ,Steak pie was Mince onion which was good,Gravy superb .I will give it a second go as price is right and a nice restaurant good atmosphere. View menu

Would not recommend in any aspect. If you want a decent chippy the one at the Underbank is the one. Really disappointing, rude and unsupportive staff, food wasn’t great either. An overall bad experience and genuinely one of the worst meals I’ve had in Stockport centre. Came with a young person with additional needs and were made to feel unwelcome by all.

Went yesterday with my work collegue and a gentleman we support in the community with extra needs, staff not very friendly or helpful especially the woman at the till on trying to pay wasn't helpful in the slightest. We felt very uncomfortable as we could clearly hear customers talking about us, which our gentleman is not deaf. Not an inclusive establishment at all.

Used to be a great chippy but rapidly gone down hill. This is not just once this has happened. Used to go here often. I had not been for a while but went in for a takeaway. The food was bland and lots of chips were cold like they'd been sat for a period of time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to previous good experience. I called in again a week or so later and experienced similar food. Shame cause this used to be a good chippy. They seem to not care anymore about standard of food. This chippy was far better when the man who owned it was always singing whilst frying. If you want a decent Chippy lunch try Salty Towers on Underbank. View menu
