"my friend and I are both vegan and had heard good things about this bakery, so we decided to review it. we had a peach crumb, pear crumb, blueberry copper cake, dark chocolate latte and a latte macchiatio. they had also baked several chocolates. were available, but today the fruit options called us. everything was great! the woman who helped us was very friendly and helpful and spoke impeccable English. if they like coffee and chocolate, I recommend the dark chocolate latte, but I would also happily recommend all the others that we had. this place is all vegan except they have milk milk for coffee drinks, and the white chocolate latte also contains milk. I doubt, however, that a non-vegan/vegetarian would even realize that eating here was vegan. highly recommended for anyone who likes coffee or sweetness!"

Wer sein indisches Essen ohne viel Schärfe genießen will, kein Problem. Man muss es halt nur bei der Bestellung sagen.Ich aß "Chicken korma " mit Cashew Kernen, Rosinen und einer rafinierten Kokos-Curry-Soße. Als Beilage gab es Reis. Zuvor versuchte ich mich an dem gemischten Vorspeisenteller. Die Portion war üppig und geschmacklich interessant. Frittierte Spinatbällchen hatte ich bis dato noch nicht verkostet.Die Preisgestaltung empfand ich als fair. Und das Ambiente? - Indisch halt."

"Amongst all the places I have been around the world, I must say that I never ate such a good meat in my life. The steak was so tender that you could even cut it without the need of a knife! The portion was quite good as well (400gr) very juicy and perfectly cooked. Good selection of wine and the atmosphere is also very "argentinian" style, with gaucho "accessories" and horse saddles hanging from everywhere. The Service was also good, very friendly waiters. People might think it is a bit pricey but it is definetly worth the money! The grill is placed right at the entrance so you can have a look at the guy grilling this massive pieces of meat on the grill."

"Ein sehr guter Thai im Veedel. Sehr schön eingerichtet, über zwei Etagen und ganz ohne den üblichen Charm eines Imbiss. Es erinnert eher an ein modernes Restaurant mit schönen Design-Holztischen und bequemen Stühlen. Die Karte enthält neben den üblichen Asiagerichten auch ein paar typisch thailändische Suppen und auch sehr leckere Salatkombinationen. Wenn man es etwas schärfer möchte, kann man das mit dem Personal absprechen. Ansonsten ist alles sehr lecker, fix zubereitet und preisgünstig. das Personal ist immer für einen Scherz zu haben und sehr freundlich. Um Missverständnisse bei Bestellungen zu vermeiden sollte man online bestellen. Klappt immer."

"I have been to many sushi restaurants in Köln and this is my favorite in town. All you can eat option is a little bit pricy (around 25-29 EUR) but the conveyor belt really has good varieties of sushi. They have a small buffet for...hot appetizers like chicken yakitori, spring rolls and miso soup and you can order extra from the menu without extra charge (for the All you can eat). My favourite is the sashimi salat with peanut sauce and rucola. Service is often rather fast I particularly appreciate it when it's busy. I would recommend to reserve online for weekend dinners as it really gets busy. You can do it online from quandoo.de."

"Wir gingen mit großen Erwartungen an die Neueröffnung unseres Italieners =ehemals Eupener Hof und kamen doch enttäuscht zurück. Zuerst das Positive= sehr schön licht und modern eingerichtetes Lokal, überall Stoffservietten auf den Tischen, äußerst freundliche Bedienung inkl. des immer sehr positiv bemühten Padrone. Der Blick auf die (leider standardisierte) Speisekarte mit Fleischgerichten, deren Fleischmengen 200 bis 300 Gramm Portionen beinhaltete, ließ uns schon skeptisch werden. Also: Vorspeise und Pasta als Hauptgericht und später entscheiden, ob es noch ein Dessert gibt! Wir bestellten eine Tomatensuppe und eine Minestrone, sowie Spaghetti Carbonara auf echte ital. Art (also nur mit Ei und ohne die schreckliche deutsche Sahnesauce) sowie Penne mit Kalbbolognese.Beim Wein wollten wir den Hauswein wagen. Das ging total schief schmeckte wie Retsina im Eichenfass:-(. Wir ließen es zurückgehen und nahmen einen offenen Salento Bianco: leider auch hier Enttäuschung auf voller Breite, irgendwo waren da ein paar Sägespanne als Holzimitation im Geschmack dran vorbeigegangen:-(:-( .Trotzdem wurde tapfer ausgetrunken, wir wollten ja nicht schon wieder nörgeln. Die beiden Vorspeisen waren sehr gut, die Tomatensuppe schön sämig und die Minestrone sehr schmackhaft. Trotz der Wein-Enttäuschung wuchs unsere Vorfreude auf das nächste Gericht.Nun kamen unsere beiden Hauptgerichte: der Teller war bis zum Rand voll, vermutlich mindestens 200 bis 250 Gramm Nudeln! Wer soll das denn alles essen und es dann auch noch schön finden, so vollgestopft zu werden??? Und dabei schmeckten beide Gerichte sehr gut, aber nach der Hälfte der Menge gaben wir auf. Wir schauten uns um, alle anderen Tische hatten ähnlich volle Teller ! Ein Dessert war beim besten Willen nicht mehr drin, aber vielleicht nach der Weinenttäuschung noch ein Glas offenen Weiß-Wein? Leider auch hier voll daneben: der offenen Pino -Grigio war so geschmacklos, dass wir die Rechnung bestellten, wir hatten einfach genug. Auf Nachfrage hieß es vom Sohn des Inhabers, dass der in Küche kochende Bruder wohl an diesem Tag zu viel des Guten auf die Teller getan habe, normalerweise seien 150 Gramm Nudeln das Maß. Ok, wenn das so ist... Aber warum gibt es dann so riesige Fleischportionen, die heute keiner mehr will??.Uns schien das doch wohl eher eine Frage der Küchenphilosophie zu sein.Das Publikum des Restaurant bestand aus sehr vielen jungen Familien mit kleinen Kindern, alles sehr sympathisch. Wir hatten uns auf einen nette Abend beim netten Italiener gefreut: Aber Wein und Portionsmengen werden uns so schnell nicht noch mal dort hin bringen. Nun befindet sich das Lokal erst in der Anfangsphase seiner neuen Location. Es bliebe zu hoffen, dass die Familien Chiriciello noch mal einige Punkte ihrer Restaurant-Philosophie überdenkt::::"

"Hi, was in Baltasar on March 31 with a friend for dinner. The service was already annoying at the beginning, you could not choose drinks in peace, I saved the appetizer. A steak with salad ordered. The meat lukewarm and hardly seasoned, pepper and salt were missing on the table. The salad was really sweetly put together, tomatoes, for example mehlig, soft consitence and dressing only very sour. The wine was acceptable, but at the prices I drank much better. We had barely endured, the really penetrant questions of the service went back to the nerves, so that the dessert also regenerated. I like to go and often, eat in the most diverse places - but such a service and a truly modest meal I have not experienced yet. It's a pity, but in the Baltasar it's better not. F"

"Paar Mädels und ich haben dort gespeist. Der Laden ist gut besucht, recht klein, aber sauber. Muss erst mal dazu sagen, obwohl ich mit chinesischem/asiatischem Essen gross geworden bin, habe aber keine grosse Klappe (und Verlangen) nach einer authentischen (und übertrieben-teuren) chinesischen Küche. Also, war ich mit meine Ente (und nette Personal) eigentlich zufrieden vorallem wegen d. Preise. -gutes Essen muss nicht überheblich teuer sein, oder?Aber ich bin kein grosser Esser, ich esse sehr gern aber recht wenig für meinen Alter und Körpergroße ;) - deswegen fragte ich d. Bedienung höfflich d. 3/4 Entegerichte einzupacken plus 2 anderen Gerichte zum Mitnehmen für meine liebsten Jungs zu Hause.Die Nuddel war okay und das Rindfleisch war nix besonderes, ausser ... während der Mahlzeit zu Hause haben einen ziemlich grossen Stück von Glass (vermütlich Trinkglass) in dem Essen gefunden .Schade schade schade... !!!"

"We called in to make our reservation for persons and it was confirmed. Arriving at the agreed time the waiter told us he was going to check if there was availability. A lady in front of us had also made a reservation for they had told her the same. The place was packed and everybody had full plates. There was no chance we could be seated. The waiter told us to wait outside as he was going to check how long it was going ro take. We decided to leave and search for a place for persons. This restaurant just takes in reservations and does not care for people who count on the reservations made. Too bad.."

"In the meantime, it's more open for lunch and it's pretty good. A small local cultural excursion is served as an aperitive: Düx: Kölsche Sprooch für den rechtsrheinischen Stadtbezirk Deutz. The real old Düxer obviously doesn't see himself as a Cologneian and therefore passes a noh hustle, if he ever crossed the Düxer Bröck (Deutzer Rheinbrücke). In the Colonia the Veedel (town district) comes first, then the mother city. And that's why the name of this little place is very well chosen. Excursion end. The menu goes well beyond the classic Dönerbuden offer and also contains moment: uuii 35 pizza variants from the stone oven. From Margherita to 4,50 to Lachs Spinat to 8,50 euros, and of course Turkish pizza. Furthermore: pans and pasta dishes, even delicious (example tested) runs, cold greenware in multi-faceted finish and the classics Döner, Börek and Pide, Fritten (logical), supplements and appetizers. Drinks unspectacular: Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Water, Ayran. Coffee and Turkish mocha. The service is friendly and works as far as it has been observed, quite quickly even with greater urge. Telephone pre-orders are ready to pick up within 10 minutes according to your own request. The pricing is pleasing. cok güzel.
