"Menu: Brilliant. We took nearly minutes to decide what we were having, it all looked so good. Food: Ordered the Suarez' and the soup of the day, tomato, ginger and coriander. The sandwich was lovely and the soup in particular was delicious. Medium to big servings, erring to the latter considering it's the West End. Service: Staff very friendly and generally good chat. There was quite a wait between ordering and getting served though Ambience/decor/etc: Very cosy little place with interesting signs, etc, on the wall. Enjoyed it. Price: Paid for my sandwich, soup and coffee. Thought it was a bit dear Would definitely recommend this place."

The Great Western Sandwich Co is a cute little sandwich/coffee shop in the west end with a really interesting sandwich menu.

On route to another restaurant on Great Western Road (so many good ones), and we spotted Great Western Sandwich Co with a sign out front advertising

After checking out the menu online, my friend and I came to Great Western Sandwich Company for lunch. First up, my friend had a Provencal sandwich, and I

What lovely food, I had a house burrito with the made in house hot sauce which was pretty hot but I managed it no bother. I finished off my girlfriend's burrito as she was stuffed : Staff were lovely too and helped me and the girlfriend with some advice for moving to the area. Thank you so much.

Fantastic sandwich and wrapped foods joint. The salsa on my burrito was the first good spicy food I’ve had in Glasgow. Vegetarian options are delicious (a friend’s opinion), and the menu has a nice variety. Americano was super tasty and the staff is friendly and seem to have wonderful camaraderie.

the great western sandwich co-decision was one of the worst days of us not knowing the owners, we have no interest in this business, we just love sandwiches and live ten minutes to foot. a after part of this load temporary closing is that we save money and allegedly if they do a millennial that do not brunch, they can make crazy house savings, but these are competitive sandwiches and we do not almost save enough, so overall we are super happy that the sandwich shop is back.

The best sandwiches in the city, without a doubt. I've tried everything on the menu and it's all amazing, but I always end up going back to my favorite, The Suarez. While they may be a bit pricey for a premium sandwich (£5-7), they are definitely worth treating yourself to every once in a while. The staff is friendly and the establishment is small but well-maintained. My only complaint is the extra charge for seating, which I personally don't agree with. Overall, this place is more than just sandwiches and is definitely worth a visit.

I have been coming to this restaurant regularly for the past two years with friends and family and have always enjoyed everything I have ordered. The dishes are incredibly creative and unique, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The wait for freshly prepared food is worth it, and while the atmosphere is simple, there is a charming and funky vibe to the room. I talked about this place so much that my daughter, who is a graphic designer, surprised me with a t-shirt featuring the restaurant's logo as a Christmas present! I wish I could give this place six stars! - Stewart

Fantastic experience at this restaurant! It took us a while to decide on our order because everything looked so delicious. The Suarez sandwich and the tomato, ginger, and coriander soup were both outstanding. The portions were generous, especially for a place in the West End. The staff were very friendly and provided great conversation, although there was a bit of a wait between ordering and being served. The ambiance was cozy with intriguing decorations on the walls. The prices were a bit on the higher side - I paid £10 for my sandwich, soup, and coffee - but overall, I would highly recommend this place.
