"Menu: Brilliant. We took nearly minutes to decide what we were having, it all looked so good. Food: Ordered the Suarez' and the soup of the day, tomato, ginger and coriander. The sandwich was lovely and the soup in particular was delicious. Medium to big servings, erring to the latter considering it's the West End. Service: Staff very friendly and generally good chat. There was quite a wait between ordering and getting served though Ambience/decor/etc: Very cosy little place with interesting signs, etc, on the wall. Enjoyed it. Price: Paid for my sandwich, soup and coffee. Thought it was a bit dear Would definitely recommend this place."

The Great Western Sandwich Co is a cute little sandwich/coffee shop in the west end with a really interesting sandwich menu.

After checking out the menu online, my friend and I came to Great Western Sandwich Company for lunch. First up, my friend had a Provencal sandwich, and I

What lovely food, I had a house burrito with the made in house hot sauce which was pretty hot but I managed it no bother. I finished off my girlfriend's burrito as she was stuffed : Staff were lovely too and helped me and the girlfriend with some advice for moving to the area. Thank you so much. View menu

Fantastic sandwich and wrapped foods joint. The salsa on my burrito was the first good spicy food I’ve had in Glasgow. Vegetarian options are delicious (a friend’s opinion), and the menu has a nice variety. Americano was super tasty and the staff is friendly and seem to have wonderful camaraderie.

Best breakfast joint in Glasgow. Had a breakfast burrito, and biting into was like biting into a little piece of happiness, egg, salsa, avocado, Monterrey jack cheese... all menu is reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly, and accommodated us with our pram. Great service, great good, we'll be back again!

the great western sandwich co-decision was one of the worst days of us not knowing the owners, we have no interest in this business, we just love sandwiches and live ten minutes to foot. a after part of this load temporary closing is that we save money and allegedly if they do a millennial that do not brunch, they can make crazy house savings, but these are competitive sandwiches and we do not almost save enough, so overall we are super happy that the sandwich shop is back. Best sandwiches in the city, hands-down. Everything on the menu i've tried kicks ass, I keep meaning to try everything but often can't resist going for my usual favourite (The Suarez). It's not somewhere you'd go for lunch every day as they are expensive for a premium sandwich but I try and treat myself every couple of weeks or so as they really are more than just sandwiches. There are cheaper options available. Staff are friendly and the place is small but well-kept. My only criticism would be charging an extra pound to sit in. I know it's a small place but I just don't like that anywhere personally
