a great little place with friendly staff, quiet atmosphere and simple decor. eating was fantastic, the big meze is a must. the beat foo I've had for a long time.

I recently ate at The Greek Affair and loved the food, atmosphere, and service. After traveling to the Greek islands of Ios, Rhodes, and Santorini, I became acquainted with authentic Greek cuisine, and this restaurant brought back many fond memories! A group of us from work recently celebrated a colleague's birthday at Greek Affair in Notting Hill, a small local Greek restaurant that I had been wanting to try for a while. I was especially intrigued by their grand meze menu, which includes a selection of ten starters and four main courses for at least two people at £22 per person. This was a perfect choice for our large group, as it eliminated the decision-making process with so many of us.

A group of us from work recently celebrated a colleague’s birthday at Greek Affair in Notting Hill, a small homey Greek restaurant that I’ve been wanting to try for a while, especially after hearing about their Grand Meze menu. This is a selection of ten starters (meze) and four main courses and is available for a minimum of two people per person). For our large group, this was a great choice, taking away much of the decision making process that can take forever when there are so many of us!

genuine Greek eating. I think it is necessary to mention that eating here is very good. I am from Greece and stay in london during my university degree, and I always visit this restaurant during the runtime for real Greek cuisine. there is of course no substitute for the Greek life experience when they are in Greece, but this food reminds me of my home and I enjoy eating a lot here. also the management are Greek and this adds to my good experiences as I speak to them how they are my friends, as I do in many restaurants in Greece. Greek food! we spent Sunday evening in Greek affair restaurant with my wife and our year old son and we regretted it not smell, we are known to be difficult customers, especially on eating, but this time we were happy to see that there are still Greek restaurants in london served real Greek foods. fresh brot (the famous Greek carveli instead of the tourist arabic pita brot, fresh spinach cake and roasted lamp with pots were served. the Greek salat is a must, with feta cheese and many tomate (not the tourist salat mixed). not very good Greek eating. the sakanaki (fried Greek cheese) was tasty, but a little salty. the tsakiki was perfect. we ordered the oktapodi (octopus), but it was said it was not ready (whatever that means) so were offered kalamari (squid in tomaten and wein sauce). the squid tasted muddy, as if he had been cooked too long. our nets were not better. the kleftiko (oven baked delicate lamb in lemon, garlic and crumble) was not what I expected. my wife ordered garides (mediterranean prawns in tomaten, white wine sauce and feta) intentionally, the garnelen come in their bowls with their heads still attached. the garnels were either old or frozen before. we never plan...read more

We had a great experience dining at Greek Affair restaurant on a Sunday evening with my wife and our 8-year-old son. As Greeks, we are known for being picky eaters, but we were pleased to find that this restaurant in London serves authentic Greek cuisine. We enjoyed dishes such as fresh bread, spinach pie, roasted lamb with potatoes, and a delicious Greek salad with feta cheese and tomatoes. The Halva dessert was also a highlight, similar to what we make at home. We were able to sit on the open-air terrace, giving us a taste of a Greek island atmosphere.
