"Wir waren zur Übernachtung in Recklinghausen und somit die typischen Touris. Abends Restaurant ausgesucht, freundlich einen Platz bekommen und köstlich gegessen. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht und hatte eine ordentliche Geräuschkulisse. Ich hatte eine Calzone und muss sagen ich war überrascht. Der Teig wirkte erst nicht durch beim schneiden, doch er war super luftig und weich. Sehr angenehm. Die Calzone war wie fast überall mit Kochschinken, Salami, Pilze, Zwiebeln, Paprika usw gefüllt, zudem kam aber und so habe ich es noch nie gegessen, Thunfisch. Die Kombi war mal was ganz anderes und hat wirklich sehr gut gepasst. Zudem war es das Menü Calzone B was zusätzlich mit Bolognese Sauce war. Alles in allem wirklich Top und zu empfehlen."

"We were there for the first time today. Very nice atmosphere, although a bit dark. Cell phone light helped with reading menus. The rest was a poem. Service attentive. The food was a blast. My wife had taken 50% spiciness. My food was Thai spicy. There was also a bowl of chili. Delicious. Will definitely come back. Many thanks to the team and the kitchen for the great evening. We had been toying with the Sukhothai appetizer platter, but when asked we were advised against it. Thanks for that. Was the right decision. I only have two thumbs, but they're both up ; Addendum: Since October 20th. According to the notice, no more lunch tables"

"super eating, super service, super funeral. how would they come to home and welcome the family. the team makes a super job. the salatable is only rich and pointed, always tasty, clean and attractive, as the whole eat also. no special request is restless and is served friendly. here only work tops....I recommended the restaurant in rachs darlingsrestaurant. the price is true. I don't know a comparable location where the service is so great written on the customer. that was often the case, so we don't go into a compromise anymore. the lipper hof is our nr. 1"

"Es gibt kaum noch eine Adresse in Recklinghausen, wo man besonders gut essen kann. Engels in der Burg ist unser Favorit, wenn wir einen besonderen Anlass feiern und hervorragend essen möchten. Der Service ist umsichtig, freundlich und mit persönlicher Ansprache, man wird als Gast gewertschätzt und auf Wunsch auch beraten, was die Menüzusammenstellung und den passenden Wein betrifft.
