in contrast to expectations in a traditional Westphalian gas house there are many vegetarian dishes. vegan are 2 excellent, but on demand are more “veganizable” cuisine and management are obviously very open to the vegan and the service is great View menu

the restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere. the food is regional and oriented towards traditional Westphalia, which are interpreted new and first class. eating has the best quality and tastes really great. I have often been with the family and we were always very happy.

eating is good-bourgeois and dedicating. the products are fresh as the menu it promises. home cooking with really fresh products is unfortunately already a rare thing. therefore it is worth eating here. the outdoor gastronomy is cozy, the service friendly and accommodating.

Entgegen der Erwartung bei einem traditionellen westfälischen Gasthaus gibt es sehr viele vegetarische Gerichte.. vegan sind 2 ausgezeichnet aber auf Nachfrage sind noch weitere „veganisierbar“ Küche und Management stehen dem Veganen offensichtlich sehr aufgeschlossen gegenüber und der Service ist großartig View menu

Der große Kiepenkerl bietet leckere vegetarische und vegane Gerichte. Die Karte wechselt, je nach Saison auch gerne die Gerichte, sodass man nicht dazu genötigt ist immer auf dasselbe Gericht zurückzugreifen. Freundliches Personal, jedoch zu Stoßzeiten gelegentlich mit Warten verbunden. Das Ambiente ist einladend rustikal mit modernen Elementen.

Ich wäre in dieses traditionelle Wirtshaus gar nicht gegangen, auf der Suche nach veganem Essen tatsächlich gab es aber so viel Auswahl, dass ich mich kaum entscheiden konnte. Alles eindeutig und klar gekennzeichnet, die Mitarbeitenden offensichtlich auch gut geschult, es war ein rundum sehr gelungener Besuch dort. Komme wieder und probiere weitere Gerichte!

We have been here a couple times now and always enjoyed it. There are around 5 or 6 vegan options, and every meal we have tried was very tasty . Großer Kiepenkerl is great for family meals, as everyone can find something they like. We especially love the Spinat Knödel . They are also very dog friendly and provide blankets and treats .
