"Living in Agno and after having been there and having brought several new customers there numerous times, I was refused dinner, and even rudely with several customers still sitting at the table, at 9.07pm on Sunday evening because they had already cleaned the kitchen by inviting me to the supposed manager to go to McDonald's... it's absurd that one can afford to treat people like this in a public establishment with opening hours that must be respected by law... perhaps they are used to doing this in Italy... and they also have the courage to complain when the tourists leave and there will be no one there... he who sows reaps... remember that!!!!"

Amazing food! Prices go with it, clearly but it's worthy to eat there one of the best restaurant we ate in in a long while. Charming grotto decor, fun and professional service. Will be back.

Very good restaurant, we stopped there on the road with a friend and we loved it. The terrace is very pleasant, the waiters welcoming despite the language barrier and we ate very well there! The roast beef was to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant ! View menu

We’ve been for dinner with friends as a friend told us. I had the better beef tartar if my life. Hand cut, very simply dressing. Then we had the stinco with polenta. The polenta tasted wonderfully. Too big portions, we couldn’t eat all of it. Will come back for sure. Prices high as usual in Switzerland but fair for the quality of ingredients. Hope it remain there, to be able to try all the options. Congratulations, great work!!!!!

Loved the place. Food is great. When I was there it was full house therefore a bit noisy. For the same reason the service was struggling keeping up the high standard they are aiming to, therefore I suggest they find someone to help: still the restaurant is new and I totally understand their choice of starting by doing one thing at a time. It is a great addition to the current offer of grotti and restaurant, I will go again. Take into consideration making reservations before you go.

"Me and my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We came all the way from USA and I can tell you this place didn't disappoint us. Very nice location, close to the lake and easy to find. We started our 5 course chef's tasting menu from appetizers by chef. It was mix of cheeses in different variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho soup. 1.Our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, peach and lemon sauce. It was absolutely delightful. 2.Then we had poached egg in creamy pea puree and shaved with Belèer Knolle cheese. It was also one of my favorite dishes because it was so creamy and egg was a great addition to this dish. Also there were Bona crumbles sweet to balance the pea puree. 3. Next Paccheridi Gragnano halves with oriental veal ragout. unfortunately this pasta wasn't my favorite. It was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick uncooked pasta. We ask waiter and he confirmed that's the way it should be. Also too much peanuts overwhelmed the sauce and it felt you are eating sneakers. But I absolutely loved veal ragout sauce, it was rich with flavors and very nicely done. 4.Then our next dish was Red Mediterranean tuna with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, cucumber and puffed rice with seaweed. It was the best cooked tuna that I ever tried. It was so tender and melting on my tongue. 5. Next was perfectly cooked Duck with cherries. I absolutely loved duck, it was cooked to perfection!!! 6. Pre dessert strawberry basil puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare for the dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricot and carrot sorbet with prune compote. 8. And complementary truffle selection from Chef to congratulate us with our anniversary. Absolutely best anniversary meal. I also loved that service here was very open and nice. It was my first Michelin star experience and I didn't felt any snobbism, like in other restaurants in Milan for example. Nice presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us which is additional plus since my husband doesn't speak Italian. Absolutely worth the trip!"
