"I can absolutely recommend a visit at Claudio's for anyone staying in Heringsdorf. The chef, Claudio, only cooks what he can make out of fresh local ingredients and it's obvious that he has a passion for good Italian food. The menu is hand-written and changes...seasonally, depending on what's freshly available. I had Ravioli filled with Spinach and Ricotta, even though I usually don't like spinach. The dish was served with a butter truffle sauce and it was delicious. My sister had sliced beef with risotto, which was also very tasty. The place is quite small bit cozy, and fits only 14 people maximum, which creates a very cozy, family-like atmosphere. I also had no complaints regarding the service. Absolutely do reserve in advance, because the restaurant is almost always booked out and only works 2 evening shifts the first at 6 and the second one at 8 pm. It is conveniently located in the city center of Heringsdorf. If you're looking for great Italian food when visiting Usedom, Claudio is the person you need to visit! 5 Stars from me!"

"Mein Kaiserschmarrn war wieder Spitze, habe mir die Hälfte einpacken lassen, es ist einfach nicht zu schaffen. Leider war mein Mann enttäuscht, er hatte Belitzer Spargel mit einem kleinen Schnitzel, das kleine Schnitzel entpuppte sich als recht großes, danke dafür, war sehr lecker. Leider sahen die Kartoffeln aus, als kämen sie aus einem Glas, klein und alle gleich groß, eine schwarze Stelle, die ließen wir zurückgehen und bekamen sofort eine neue serviert, sie schmeckten aber wässerig, ebenso der Spargel, der nur lauwarm war und wässrig, nicht richtig abgetropft und, was gar nicht sein darf, holzig, Ich habe ihn probiert, leider, das war schade, zumal es nur vier Stangen waren, Kartoffeln nicht frisch und das Ganze für 23,50, da stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht."

"Das kleine Restaurant gehört zu den beliebtesten Gaststätten in Heringsdorf. Meines Erachtens auch zu Recht, das Essen ist schmackhaft und frisch. Bezüglich des Essens gäbe es 5 Sterne. Allerdings ziehe ich einen Punkt ab und dies aus zwei Gründen:1. Etwas Luft nach oben gäbe es noch beim Ambiente; dem Restaurant würde eine neue Innengestaltung nebst neuer Möbilierung gut tun. 2. Die Bedienung machte auf uns auf dem ersten Blick einen lustlosen Eindruck. Beim zweiten Blick wurde klar, dass sie einfach überfordert war. Hier sollte dringend darüber nachgedacht werden, zu Spitzenzeiten das Personal aufzustocken.Fazit:Wir waren 2 mal dort, weil die Küche sehr gut ist. Das Restaurant ist auf jedem Fall empfehlenswert."

"What can I say- this is one of the best restaurants in all of Usedom. I had set my eyes on this place the first time we came to the Baltic Sea and finally, more than a year later, I got the chance. It is...part of the renowned, luxurious Ahlbecker Hof hotel, and the one quality here that immediately blows your mind is the incredible decor. First of all, it completely reminds you of Thailand- the ornamentation and furniture is all glamorous from the ceilings to the floors. It is completely an experience just to walk to your table and sit down; the friendly waiters and waiters are dressed in a traditional outfit, and everything is served in a luxurious Thai style. This wonderful atmosphere was especially impressive at night, when the lighting from all the lamps correlated wonderfully with the dark glass roof from the sky. The food, in addition, was absolutely delicious and cam extremely quickly (I'd say around minutes after we ordered). I ordered a Mutsaman Curry with crispy duck, and the combination of flavours as well as the texture were lovely. A stereotype of higher end restaurants is that the portion sizes are always small, however I did not even order a appetiser and the portion size was perfect for me here, so they have definitely excelled in that field. Because of this, I found the food and beverages well priced; my dish was however this was one of the more expensive dishes as duck is usually quite high-cost I'd say the average price for a main course would be around or `Euros, and when you take into account the stunning interior and service, this is just the right price for this class restaurant. The only thing I can comment on was the music in the background; instead of playing Thai Music, Whitney Houston was playing during our dinner here. Personally, I didn't mind it, especially already having Thai decor, Thai food and waiters/waitresses dressed in Thai outfits, although I think having Thai music would even further enhance the wonderfulness of the restaurant, making the already unforgettable experience even more unforgettable. There is no doubt I am returning."

"Our family went there to have a nice dinner. We called to make a reservation and were asked to arrive at 5pm since all tables were booked afterwards. So we arrived at 5pm. The interior is a mix of modern, old and peculiar stuff. The menu looked ok. We ordered a Scholle, duck, lamb and Wiener schnitzel. When served we returned the duck right away since it was heavily overcooked and solid as a leather shoe. The Scholle was the smallest one I have ever seen although I must admit that the taste was good. The Wiener schnitzel with the fries was dry as a desert.All in all we were glad to get out of the restaurant to go into a fish restaurant.Well overpriced with small portions and badly prepared food. The food and the guests deserve better."
