"What can I say- this is one of the best restaurants in all of Usedom. I had set my eyes on this place the first time we came to the Baltic Sea and finally, more than a year later, I got the chance. It is...part of the renowned, luxurious Ahlbecker Hof hotel, and the one quality here that immediately blows your mind is the incredible decor. First of all, it completely reminds you of Thailand- the ornamentation and furniture is all glamorous from the ceilings to the floors. It is completely an experience just to walk to your table and sit down; the friendly waiters and waiters are dressed in a traditional outfit, and everything is served in a luxurious Thai style. This wonderful atmosphere was especially impressive at night, when the lighting from all the lamps correlated wonderfully with the dark glass roof from the sky. The food, in addition, was absolutely delicious and cam extremely quickly (I'd say around minutes after we ordered). I ordered a Mutsaman Curry with crispy duck, and the combination of flavours as well as the texture were lovely. A stereotype of higher end restaurants is that the portion sizes are always small, however I did not even order a appetiser and the portion size was perfect for me here, so they have definitely excelled in that field. Because of this, I found the food and beverages well priced; my dish was however this was one of the more expensive dishes as duck is usually quite high-cost I'd say the average price for a main course would be around or `Euros, and when you take into account the stunning interior and service, this is just the right price for this class restaurant. The only thing I can comment on was the music in the background; instead of playing Thai Music, Whitney Houston was playing during our dinner here. Personally, I didn't mind it, especially already having Thai decor, Thai food and waiters/waitresses dressed in Thai outfits, although I think having Thai music would even further enhance the wonderfulness of the restaurant, making the already unforgettable experience even more unforgettable. There is no doubt I am returning."

"I can absolutely recommend a visit at Claudio's for anyone staying in Heringsdorf. The chef, Claudio, only cooks what he can make out of fresh local ingredients and it's obvious that he has a passion for good Italian food. The menu is hand-written and changes...seasonally, depending on what's freshly available. I had Ravioli filled with Spinach and Ricotta, even though I usually don't like spinach. The dish was served with a butter truffle sauce and it was delicious. My sister had sliced beef with risotto, which was also very tasty. The place is quite small bit cozy, and fits only 14 people maximum, which creates a very cozy, family-like atmosphere. I also had no complaints regarding the service. Absolutely do reserve in advance, because the restaurant is almost always booked out and only works 2 evening shifts the first at 6 and the second one at 8 pm. It is conveniently located in the city center of Heringsdorf. If you're looking for great Italian food when visiting Usedom, Claudio is the person you need to visit! 5 Stars from me!"

"A very tasty and inexpensive Italian. We have been able to eat very well here. The service is very friendly and not intrusive. The portions are large. So first, consider how much appetizer you can make alone if you want to eat the main dish completely. But it's no problem sharing the appetizer. Just let me know and you get extra plates. Even if food isn't entirely made, it's not a problem. You can easily pack the rest. Also a sale outside the house is offered. It was a nice evening. Thanks and until the next time."

"My friend, a very good friend, and I was there the first time two weeks ago. We had the tip of our gastronomic director, because we three work in a 4.5 star hotel in Heringsdorf. From the outside the restaurant looks very inconspicuous. However, you can already see what is offered here. An outstanding gastronomy!!! Service grandios, food fabulous, the offered products really strong!! A great tip! The card is harmonic!! The service impresses with much know-how! Just a really nice experience!! We all had 3 courses and everyone impresses with great appearance and taste!! A true miracle!! Very happy again!!!"

"Leider muss ich mit meiner Bewertung dieses Restaurants Wasser in den guten Wein der übrigen Bewertungen gießen. Wir wurden hier von einer derart unfreundlichen Bedienung abgekanzelt, dass wir im nachhinein bedauerten, das Lokal nicht sofort verlassen zu haben. Als wir das Restaurant betraten und nach einem evtl. freien Tisch fragten, wurden wir angeschnauzt, wir könnten uns einen freien Platz dort suchen, wo nicht reserviert sei. Nachdem wir dann später unsere Bestellung aufgegeben hatten, fragte ich die gleiche Kellnerin einige Zeit später, ob der Beilagensalat serviert würde, oder ob wir uns am Büffet bedienen müssten. Wieder im unfreundlichen Ton wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Büffet für uns zur Verfügung stünde. Auf meine daraufhin geäußerte freundliche Bitte, uns doch bitte das hierfür notwendige Besteck zu bringen (alle anderen Tische waren mit Bestecken eingedeckt), wurde ich dermaßen frech angegangen und angeschnauzt, wir könnten ja wohl noch etwas warten. Nach wiederum einer längeren Zeit brachte uns ein Kollege der Kellnerin das Besteck und die Tischsets. Den Salat, den wir uns dann holten, konnten wir nur noch z.T. essen, da kurz danch unsere bestellten Hauptgerichte kamen. Freundlickeit sieht anders aus. Das Essen selbst war geschmacklich gut, aber auch nicht mehr. Für Leute, die gern große Portionen essen, ist es in Ordnung. Die Anrichtung der übervollen Teller war lieblos, alles wurde übereinandergeschichtet serviert. Es war ein enttäuschender Abend, die in das Lokal gesetzten Erwartungen wurden bei weitem nicht erfüllt."
