I wish they had told us on the phone that the hot tub in the swimming pool was not working. We were very disappointed. I have seen better places and there are bedbugs in the rooms. It would be great if they would take care of this issue. Service: 5

We arrived on a Friday evening around 9.30 pm, and we did have an issue with the room only to be moved with the same issue, but the bloke on reception monty i think was so helpful and booked us in for the suite on the Saturday evening. Breakfast Saturday morning was a disappointment. They couldn 't seem to get a full menu out at the same time, Sunday was much better. We decided to order room service Saturday night, not worth the money, my steak was fatty chewy, and no steak knife provided, definitely below standard for the price. Breakfast could have some improvement. The scrambled egg had a weird taste. A variety of pastries would be very nice as well. The staff were really nice and friendly, especially Erika, who went extra miles to make our breakfast very lovely and enjoyable. The room was clean and was smelling nice. The gym is great, with plenty of machines, weights, and cardio options. Dinners were very delicious and good portions. Massages were also great and relaxing, staff were very friendly and welcoming, the only tiny thing that could be improved is staff should wait with tidying the room, not doing it while the customer is still there. Stayed for a weekend at Gloucester Robinswood, this was directly after the Cheltenham Races weekend so we were stung with a treble price of room for the Friday and a normal room rate on the Saturday. The staff is what makes this place, really friendly and welcoming throughout the whole stay. We did have an issue with water pressure in our room, and after being unable to fix it we were moved room with no fuss. The team dealt with this really well. Breakfast on both mornings was great, well stocked and hot, with a variety of options. Was a very pleasant experience overall, the room was a good size, leisure facilities onsite, in hotel restaurant and bar, staff are very welcoming and happy to help with any requests. Rooms: The room was nice enough for the cost. My only gripe was the high dusting could do with being done more often as alot of the picture/tops of door frames and light shades were rather dusty so be aware if you suffer with asthma, the television in the room was old so only live TV no streaming services.
