"After we booked a Norway cruise this week for the summer and the boat will be approached by the train, yesterday a test run was announced. For decades, I hadn't seen a wagon from inside... But this is not the point. The goal of the trip was Nuremberg and before the return trip we wanted to take a small boost to us. This should be briefly described here, because that was more interesting than the boring train ride. Just a few 100 meters from the train station we found the “Hans in Glück”. I remembered him from my childhood. With a kind of feeling of happiness created by memory, we entered the place. Auwei... the place was rough and it was very loud. Before we were able to turn towards the exit, a waiter was already there. No, of course not. The waiter thought briefly and then offered us a table that just got free. What a happiness in “Hans im Glück”. The way through the crowd to our table showed a place that was very appealing with many tree trunks up to the ceiling and had a large bar, but was also very narrow. At the table itself there was a small wooden box with 4 sauces, simple mayonnaise with a funny name, ketchup, orange mustard sauce, smokey barbecue sauce. The offer after 17 o'clock was the so-called "Send Supper" where you pay the price for a burger 8,50€ for a cocktail and a supplement. The burgers could be chosen in a multi-grain bun or in a sourdough bun. I chose the avocado berry in a multi-grain bun with sweet potatoes as a supplement (upward 1€ and the cocktail “Waldhimbeere”. It consisted of rum, raspberry, lime, mint and sprout in 0.5 l glass. There was hardly anything to taste from the rum. My accompaniment chose the burger with cheese and bacon in the sourdough bread with potato pomers and the cocktail “Glücksbringer” consisting of gin, elder, lime and sprout. When the burgers came, I took a little closer look at this: beef patty, Hans-im-Glück sauce, red onions, tomato, salad and a slice of “Heumilchkäse”. Above all the avocado cream. Tastefully a poem and together with the supplement almost not to create. We were so tired after this meal that a dessert could no longer be considered. The waiter was very nice and caring. Despite the crowded place, he came to the table at regular intervals and asked if everything was fine. This is not the case everywhere and therefore requires special recognition. The restaurant is barrier-free, at least in the entrance area, but has many benches instead of chairs. Nevertheless, if I come back to Nuremberg sometime in my life, it will definitely go back to the “Hans im Glück”."

After I had an hour of train stay in Nuremberg, I wanted some food and landed in Hans in luck. I told the waitress I had to reach my train in 45 minutes. So she took my order very quickly and about 5 minutes later I had my food on the table (still before the drink). With such a service there are 5 stars. The Burger was very good

All in all, all right. We went to dinner there on a Friday night and were all little enthusiastic about what was offered to us there. The burgers did not really convince tastefully and qualitatively. We had different burgers and tried one bite from the other. Conclusion: All burgers quite lazy, almost faded in taste. The Pommes were good. However, the operation took an unnecessarily long time for everything, even though it was not that crowded. There are enough better alternatives in the area.

In this restaurant I was together with my sister and two best friends, we can recommend it completely! In short: It has just been all right, the ambience, the food, the drinks and the price. For lunch or in the evening, however, we should reserve beforehand we had luck and got another place because shortly before someone left.
