"They say, not judge a book on his cover!!!! Well, this is a fabulous little land pub the food is beyond and beyond all expectations!!! Steak nights!!!! Cooked to perfection!!! Fish night amazing!!! Steak and kidney pie dad cleaned his plate!!! Can't evaluate it high enough!!! If you ever come by!! Not!!!! Call in you will not be disappointed staff very friendly all food cooked fresh, but advise to book as very busy!!! Thanks to hope, a day oh and very dog friendly!!!"

I stopped by for a drink and found the beer to be satisfactory, though the selection was limited. The atmosphere had a distinctly local vibe, which made me feel a bit out of place as an outsider, but I suppose that's to be expected. On the positive side, the service was swift.
