"Racist and hateful owner. Never felt so humiliated in my life. I came with my family and they went to sit down while I went with my 3 year old to the bathroom. The owner gave me a hard time on the way in and I told her I was with my group and pointed at them. Well it turns out this place had no coffee (or didn 't want to serve it) so my family went over to the cafe next door (which had wonderful coffee, by the way). The restroom was in a bad state and the toilet was disgusting and I had to clean it and cover it with toilet paper so my daughter could use it. Suddenly, the owner burst into the one person bathroom when my daughter was still undressed. She proceeded to shout that I wasn 't a customer and to get out now. I told her repeatedly my daughter needs privacy and I quickly made my daughter decent but she wouldn 't get out. I washed my daughter 's and my hands silently as she continuously yelled that I can 't understand then I told her I need to wash our hands before we leave. I told her I 'm happy to buy something and my family were customers and I don 't know what happened. She said Oh I know what happened. Then she continuously muttered in French until I left. I would never go here again and wish I trusted the negative reviews."

While passing through Albi, we had lunch on the terrace. Very nice home ! Little touches on this hot day and well-cooked dishes. We will go back

Excellent homemade ice cream at a very fair price. The view to the cathedral makes it a perfect places to go eat something or just take a good tea. Totally recommended :) View menu

We chose this place for a very late lunch as we had been travelling, service was good and quick, we were hungry. Food was good, as was the beautiful view of the cathedral.

A good view and charming place to have breakfast. The owner it was so sweet. A 8€ menu with coffee, orange juice, crepe and toast with butter and jelly. Perfect for two persons.

Très jolie terrasse, plus jolie que sur la photo, accueil tout à fait aimable et souriant. Excellent tartare de saumon. Vue époustouflante sur la cathédrale, en résumé, un sans faute. À recommander View menu

If you’re looking for a good time this is not the place for you. The owner is unwelcoming and rude and will repeatedly insult you for no reason at all. I am still shocked at the service we received and will never return. There are plenty of more welcoming places that at worthy of your business.

We could not have had such a nice snack lunch in full view of the magnificent Cathedral. There were good choices and very tasty food indeed.. The owner who served us spoke excellent English and she was most helpful. Very efficient and the meal resonably priced. The Tea selection inside was excellent so we all bought some to bring home.

"Our second night in Albi and two restaurants we wanted to visit in the evening were closed. We decided to venture to a small local Vietnamese restaurant that received only 11 reviews but all very good and from French visitors. We arrived early and we're the only customers but received a friendly greeting in French with little English but a willingness to work with our very limited language skill. We decided on the fixed price menu at 17Euros a person. My husband had the shrimp salad, the beef with onions and peppers with rice all very fresh tasting and the salad had wonderful and crunchy ingredients in a lightly creamed dressing. I chose the beef and nem...a lovely dish with ginger spiced noodle, small slices of perfectly tender beef and two small fried rolls stuffed with finely shredded veggies and meat. My main dish was the shrimp (crevettes) Thailandaise a most delicious combination of crisp onion, cabbage, and a fantastic spiced cream sauce. I was told it was spicy but without the final dash of hot sauce it had just the right amount of zip. Both of us had the banana flambé to finish. This was just the right amount of food...not so much food that it could be shared. The cost including a lovely bottle of Gaillac Rouge was about 47 Euros. We feel this was a wonderful and very pleasant dinner and well worth the price. Thanks again to Evean our waitress and her parents the chefs!"
