"Awesome vegetarian and vegan food, you can basically eat your way around the world from Thai curry to samosas, and pakoras; a variety of cold, salads, veggie pâté and the like. Juices, cocktails, mock tails and wine by the glass, as well as a full selection of hot beverages are available. Outdoor patio when the weather is nice, the only downside is that in Switzerland, people smoke on patios, so look and make sure the wind is blowing the other way. Takeout containers available, and delightfully cheeky graphics delineating the male and female washrooms. This branch of the main restaurant which has been open for 125 years does a great job. If it’s your first time in Switzerland, you probably don’t realize everything is about double the price you’re used to in North America. Take half the portion you think you’d like so you don’t get sticker shock when you see the currency conversion on your credit card. The celery schnitzel is absolutely phenomenal, I like it with a little bit of the pesto smeared on top. Gluten appetit!"

The Hiltl Sihlpost, located close to the ZH HB, has exceptionally good food and a rich buffet with something for everyone. The service is friendly and quick. I'd love to come back :

Interessant wie das Lokal gestaltet wurde. man hat was zum schauen.Die Speisen sind Hiltl Qualität. Gut gewürzt, schön hergerichtet. Selbstbedienung - die Auswahl ist so gross dass die Leute sich fast nicht entscheiden können und den Platz versperren.

Wenn man denn mal rausgefunden hat, dass das ein Vegirestaurant ist (also dass es 0 Fleisch gibt), wird man an der Kasse gleich nochmals überrascht nämlich vom Preis. Für 2 Salatteller (kein Kinderteller irgendwo gefunden...) und 1 Getränk 35 Franken bezahlt. Ehrlich für diesen Preis esse ich in Bern ein zwei Gänge Menü mit Fleisch! Warum Fleisch imitieren? Wurstsalat der keiner ist. Hörnli mit Gehaktem das keines ist.Brot war fade das Gemüse fettig. Einzig Gutes: Kartoffelgratin und Zwiebelringe. View menu

Meine Freundin besuchen das Hiltl einmal pro Woche, da wir bei der HWZ studieren. Das Essen kann mitgenommen werden. Das Restaurant ist über Mittag meistens voll, gibt jedoch die Möglichkeit, draussen zu essen. Das Hiltl bietet eine grosse Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Essen. Das Geschöpfte wird gewogen und danach bezahlt. Die Leistung des Personals und die Qualität des Essens sind kostant sehr gut! Jedoch hatte ich einmal eine grössere Klammer im meinem grünen Curry...Trotzdem empfehle ich das Restaurant jedem & Fehler sind menschllich.
