"In a totally relaxing and calming environment with lovely views towards the Zurichsee, Himmapan offers delicious, tasty food prepared with care and exhibiting wonderful flavor. The menu isn 't huge, but has sufficient offerings. Expect a lovely tasting experience, coupled with a quiet, luxurious inviting atmosphere. Very welcoming and attentive service. The only drawback: I went mid-week and did NOT have a reservation. There are tables inside and outside. I was told that the reservation book for that night was full and only indoor tables were available (the place was 8-10% occupied, when I entered and MAYBE 12% occupied when I left). Most outside tables remained empty during my stay. I felt that they were very overprotective (and in America, such a statement meant that with a generous tip before the meal, a preferred outside table might suddenly become 'available '. My meal: One appetizer, one soup and one entree: 80 Chf, considered reasonable for this type location. I will return!"

The Himmapan restaurant in Rapperswil-Jona is absolutely high end when it comes to food, service and ambience. A visit here is absolutely recommended. However, it makes sense to reserve a table in advance.

Fantastische Lage mit Blick auf Zürich See und wilde Tiere, wie Kamele, Elefanten, etc. Sehr freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Top Qualität und breites Angebot von typischen Thai Gerichten. Das Sonntagsbuffet ist ein Muss!

Very delicious, open in the evening, buffet available on Sundays. But during this time there is also Tuesday. Variety of food The kitchen and wait staff are all Thai. The owner owns a zoo and a restaurant. I have been doing circuses for many generations. The shop is in the zoo area.

Waren gestern hier essen.

"A hidden gem: Rare Street Coffee – Where history meets modern charm At first glance, Rare Street Coffee may seem inconspicuous, but once you step through the threshold, a fascinating concept unfolds. This cafe is not just a place for coffee lovers, but a living museum with a boat, cars and many other beautiful little things. Every detail tells a story, noticeable in the charm of the old gas station. The dark walls and the constantly changing, fancy cars create a unique atmosphere, accompanied by excellent music that fits the ambience perfectly. The decor is tasteful and invites you to sit down and observe the diversity of guests from babies to seniors, a truly diverse audience. You feel comfortable here, whether in casual or chic clothing. In terms of cuisine, Rare Street Coffee exceeds all expectations. The roast beef with potato gratin, unexpectedly served as a panini, was a revelation a combination that definitely deserves a permanent place on the menu. The Panini Cotto was also exquisite, although my wife would have liked a little less balsamic. The cocoa, cappuccino and cookie rounded off our culinary experience perfectly. And there is so much more to discover on the map! The service? Simply great! Courteous, friendly and in a good mood at all times. You can feel that the team is well coordinated and is looking forward to offering its guests an unforgettable experience. Rare Street Coffee represents a refreshingly new concept, a fantastic idea and excellent value for money. For me, this café is definitely in the 5 star category, in its own, individual way. A must for anyone traveling in the region and looking for a special place to relax and enjoy. Just great!"
