Called for Sunday lunch which was absolutely lovely! Great food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend.

We came to try out the Sunday roast and none of us were disappointed! Great portions good tasted amazing! We didn’t have to wait long for starters to mains and then desserts! Highly recommend

Firstly I have to say our food was lovely however it was a hot day and there was nothing on the menu but what I would call comfort food. A choose of salad or a lighter menu would have been appreciated on an extremely hot day in a restaurant with no air con or fans.

Having been on several occasions for lunch we recently ventured again very recently. The experience unusually on this occasion was not so good. The sandwich menu says bread will be bloomer, this was not so, just your regular everyday whole meal sliced the same as from the supermarket. Lunch was ok but we have certainly had better here…. The meal was lovely and service good. At the end I went to pay my bill and was given the wrong one or at least an incorrect one. This was corrected and I paid it. It wasn’t till I got home the I realised I had been charged £3:50 for a pint of soda water and a dash of blackcurrant. I know everything has increased in price but that seems a little extreme.

We have just visited today for Sunday lunch! The food was good but we’re sat on a table next to the door into the kitchen which was like being sat in a wind tunnel! When we left I pointed out how dissatisfied were with this and both the managers were not bothered! My husband helped his 95 year mother out the door, I was on crutches and both men stood there and watched me struggle and at no point helped me! Totally disgusted!!!!!

Rude manager who blocks you from leaving reviews on Facebook page! Ordered a takeaway and the first time it was good. Second time was absolutely awful and completely different to the first time we ordered! Got a rude reply from the manager and then got blocked from being able to book a table to try again! (We live local) The standard of food we received the second time was worse than mc Donald’s! And then to receive a rude reply from management and to be blocked from Facebook after being ignored about my complaint for months is disgusting! Shows exactly what type of manager he is!
