Really superb dinner. Delivered with passion and pride. The swordfish was a stand out. Could not fault any of the dishes even down to the olive oil with the bread. The house red was good value. A throughly good evening out.

Our second time here and the service is just as friendly, attentive and accommodating. My friends and I ordered each something different and all agreed that the food was excellent. The owner helped us find the perfect wine, which paired up perfectly. It's definitely worth it!

My husband and I went here for an anniversary dinner. It was a truly lovely night. We chose to go with the Menu and it was delicious, I only wish I had arrived more hungry. Hostaria Fratelli has become a tradition. Every time I'm in Munich, I go out for dinner at Hostaria. It's not just one of the best restaurant in Munich, it's one of the best restaurant I've been to. Great service, very fresh and genuine products and great Italian food. They have a very ample selection of wines. Highly recommended.

Looking for the high class in italian cuisine? Looking for the premier league? You ll find it in an abundance of understatement and in a very friendly atmosphere at Fratelli. Run by the two brothers (one in the kitchen - one outside) with a very experienced and professional service team and an art to cook that really raises Italian cuisine to the level of art and creation. It's a very small place , very good located in which you should go using public transportation or taxi, forget your car. It is noisy, but that's due to the limited available space. Had dinner with very dear friends and the food was nothing but excellent. Two had the fixed menu, two went for " a la carte", everything was great.Special mention for the crunchy octopus and the tuna steak, nice wine from Basilicata.Enough quick in serving your orders and very polite , a very good Italian restaurant.It deserves a good rate View menu

Best produce freshly prepared. The recommendation for wines by the glass offers high glass Italian wines for fair money, maybe even a bargain.We had ragout of beef and pasta. The meat was fine cut and the sauce with free herbs was outstanding. The small chicken was well roasted with a lemon flavoured sauce and fine verggies of asparagus, zucchini and tomatoes. Well flavoured and a fit for the chicken sauce. Fish was cod and veggies, very well done !!!The cantuchini for desert was done with chocolate chips inside. Quite a fit !

We had my birthday dinner here - it was full, even on a Tuesday, so make sure to book ahead. You can very practically do that online. We had the burrata (excellent), pasta with truffles (also excellent), and the pasta stuffed with pumpkin/zucca (again, excellent). For the main course we each had the Costata, which was cooked to perfection - a really great piece of steak. Too full for dessert, but we enjoyed a digestiv offered by the house, where they also gave us some chocolate cantuccini - very delicious. With a good bottle of wine, it cost €200 - not cheap, but we would highly recommend this restaurant for a special dinner. Throughout the dinner, the service was very attentive and helpful...

This is one of our friends favorite Italian restaurants and now we can see why. While the menu is not large, there are enough choices to please anyone. We all had the eggplant parmesan starter, which the waiter recommended and was delicious. It came with homemade buffalo mozzarella on the side. A treat! I shared the whole sea bass encrusted in salt. It was moist and delicious -- the best I've had in town so far. My husband had the Osso Bucco, which he said was tender and delicious as well.
