"A cozy roadside caférestaurant offering a range of typical German dishes such as schnitzel, waldhof steak and wonderful cakes! Only some of the staff speaks English, but it doesn’t really matter as they are all very friendly and helpful and do their best to accommodate...your wishes. If you stop by here to eat please leave room to sample one or two of their wonderful cakes. They have depending on the day and busyness between and cakes to choose from, all baked in house as I understood our waiter, and really yummy! for taste and selection! Definately comig back"

Had many meals here. The food is simple but well cooked and the prices are good. The service is quick, friendly and talkative. The local beer and wines are tasty.

Called in for morning coffee and had it out on the terrace. Arrived just in time to hear the bells on the wall opposite. Lovely location, excellent service and very tasty coffee

Haus Caspari is nicely located at the corner with a terras in the sun. It is perfect place for coffee, beer or a glas of wijn. They also offer a nice selection of cake. We have not tasted the food but this must good as...well. Service is excellent

A lovely location to eat in the centre of Altenahr, below the Ahrberg. Don't think you've been overlooked it's the way the staff seem to operate your turn will arrive in the correct order. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy your drinks...whilst you wait for your food. Great Jagerschnitzel and Filetspitzen in Pfeffersauce! Standard prices: Euros for two mains, a glass of wine and a beer

There are two hauses Caspari, opposite each other. We took the restaurant more upstream, with a nice, modern interior. Service while bringing food and beverages was very good, but we had to wait quite some time before they delivered us the bill. The amount payed...was very reasonable for the food and drinks we had. They offered an excellent menu choice of menus for all kind of tastes between and euros. One minor point: there was a mismatch between the music househiphop chosen and the guests av. age so nice for the waiters but less pleasant for us
