"When my wife told me that we were booked here to stay and eat I thought, eating at a Thalasso hotel, this is going to be pour dietish' food and very expensive I was wrong We arrived saturday evening, six of us. Dinner The menu...had some lovely choices including some good wines and surprisingly the prices were far better than I expected, even the wines were not over priced. I started my meal with a dozen oysters, followed my mussels, being at the seaside, I thought might as well eat some fish for a change Both the oysters and the mussels were very good, I finished my meal with a macaroon, this was the only part of the two day that I could criticise, being a frozen macaroon (I'm pretty sure that it was frozen, the inside was too hard, not being soft and chewy as it should have been) but apart from that it was still very nice indeed. The wine was delicious, a nice Chapoutier and at around not expensive A great evening meal Breakfast Ok this is only if you are staying at the hotel : Home made or local made brioche with home made (artisanal) jams, making a breakfast a great start to the day, also a nice little touch real expresso coffée rather than English American muck. Lunch Again fish for me, a bowl or Praires (don't actually know their english name, were very good, followed by a Dorade (bream) with a risotto of bley rather than rice, different, delicious and served with a little gravy that was superbe..... Topped of by a white chocolate dessert, yummy My meal was great , my friends also all enjoyed their meals Three meals if you include breakfast, all better than average, a very nice surprise making the stay at this hotel a great one and making it a great weekend Also the service was nice and friendly, this making for better than average restaurant with a hotel that was also very good"

Great choice of dishes, well presented and worth mentioning an excellent and super friendly service. If weather allows try to eat outside with a view of the dunes.

Nothing wrong with the meal, just nothing special. The service is lackluster but because they are busy not unfriendly. Most of the diners are hotel guests so that changes the atmosphere.

Following a long car journey, and relaxing spa experience our delicious meal at Hotel Riva Bella restaurant completed an enjoyable evening. There was a varied French cuisine and good choice of wines. It was quite expensive, but we thought that the service and general ambience...in pleasant surroundings made it good value.

Avoid the Thursday buffet lukewarm, tasteless fish and the hot food is not replenished quickly enough so runs out or goes to cotton wool. Staff inattentive not clearing plates or tables so that the best window tables remain empty and you have to...sit over in the corner away from the view. Seafood is OK but not as fresh as it could be. Good selection of desserts and cheese. If booking ask for a window table.

We stayed here the night before, our ferry crossing back to the UK. We weren’t too sure what to expect, as hotels in France can be quite different to the Uk. However, we were over impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness and quality of the food....The beds were incredibly comfy and after a day on the road, made a wonderful comforting retreat for the night. Although no beer on the restaurant menu, my request was met without any hesitation. Would highly recommend the steak and beer.

This restaurant serves patrons of the Thalazur spa and reflects the healing atmosphere and ambience of the sea that fringes the complex. It is open to the general public, but the ambience is one of restfulness and wholesomeness, as befits the purposes of the spa....Some visitors may find this a bit disconcerting at first, but the service is charming and skilful. A three course meal for two costs about Euro and represents excellent value for money. Drinks are extra but are not overpriced. The restaurant caters discretely and cheerfully for children and babies. My wife and I would cheerfully drive km for a meal here. Although we've only dined there twice in two years we were remembered and wel...

First impressions, as you drive up to the hotel, are not favourable. Architecturally think Motorway Travel Lodge. Having said that once you walk inside you are in a different world. This is a smart hotel that specialises in impeccable service from the moment you enter...the dining room until you leave. Like many travellers on the nearby ferry service to Portsmouth we arrived after a long drive. The location was excellent both for access to the ferry terminal and also if you want a walk on the beach before dining. The staff were efficient and charming. The maitre d’ and many of the waiting team speak impeccable English. After a long drive one should hesitate before being overly critical of th...

Arrived early at so we knew it would probably be too early to check in, but asked anyway. Was told our room wasn't ready until o'clock but was given access to the spa, which was good, but we decided to go for a...little drive and explore the area instead,(it was lashing rain). Came back to the hotel just before to check in, now another receptionist. Was informed that our room was not ready, we said check in is at was told it's From o'clock! Sat down in the reception area to wait and we waited for hour when we were handed our key with no apology or explanation on the hotels facilities or how to get to our room... The only hotel we came across on our travels, that has such a late check in and...
