A local recommended this restaurant to us and said it was the best German cuisine in town. We loved it. Friendly staff, who also put up with my bad german! Food was tasty but portions were huge. We ordered a meal each and each dish...could easily have fed people. Share one dish View menu

As a firsttimer in Jena I spent my first evening at Stilbruch and had the Thuringian tasting platter. What to say, apart it is a purely German experience: good food, not fine but tasty, hearty and comforting, for a very affordable price. A couple beers...and you feel at home in Jena
