Every time I go to Burgos I eat at La galería and I never feel disappointed. Last Sunday I had lunch there with my family and it was another great experience. We had fried black pudding to start with (morcilla de Burgos . It was really tasty. We also had kidneys as a starter. If you like kidneys you must try them. If you don't, you must try them. For my main course I had lamb, of course. It was tasty, tender, juicy… For dessert I had a piece of cake. The service is always professional and friendly. We stayed two nights in August 23. Rooms are comfortable. Good size bed, soft mattress and sheets. Plenty of outside parking or nine euros for underground parking, which we selected. Cafe is lively and good range of snacks. We ate in the restaurant which was good. Nice environment and good service. My wife had a lovely lamb dish. My pork didn't quite hit the spot. Main courses strangely didn't come with anything other than the meat. Main drawback to hotel was the poor soundproofing in the room. We were woken one morning by an alarm on one side and then at 6am by a French family leaving early on the second day. Burgos is lovely and highly recommended. We chose to walk in and back.
