I am not sure if the dishes served here have something in common with the real Italian cuisine, but I can imagine this is true. Everything we ordered tasted great! Don't forget the wine!

we ate in the il convento to night and found the place beautiful and historical. the Italian food was really average, the pasta in order, but the meat that came was dry. . . we were a bit disappointed as the menu is quite expensive. View menu

Nice seating in the courtyard. It is a busy place but staff is knowledgeable and food was fresh, tasty and service is fast. Portions are large, one can easily share a salad. Our table of were all happy with our food. Pasta, pizza and...salad.

Dear Il Convento Team No.265 Pasta from Parmesanlaib with Parmaschinken and fresh truffles just taste great. Tiramisu was the crowning conclusion. Service staff is very friendly. In particular, my thanks to Alex and Mimo apply. I feel very comfortable as a regular customer. See you soon!!!!

A very nice place/office and very friendly and helpful staff. Anyone who should take a trip to Kassel should definitely go to dinner here. Especially the monthly events where the food is matched to the respective products in the month are the brighter. This place is simply recommended and a must for good food. Had dinner on August Excellent salmon with fennel. Not so positive: my table was swarmed with small flies. I informed the waiter but although the restaurant was not fully booked I was not given the opportunity to move to another table. Other negative point:...I had ordered a mixed salad as a starter. One lettuce leaf clearly was no longer edible. Pity.

we had the noodles with creamy sauce and black truffles. I was disappointed. the personal super friendly the ambiente in the old no longer used church super. but eating for an Italian of this price class is not appropriate. the truffle dry, the spaghetti too soft, the sauce cut. if I pay €16 for a portion of noodles with truffles I also want to get a tasty noodle dish. that was not the case this time. therefore only two points.
