"This little pretty Paninis Pizza place is a vegan dream in the island of Sardinia. It 's basically a vegan restaurant with a few non-vegan options (the few non-vegan options they 've got are marked with a little a , all the rest is 100% vegan . I 've eaten there several times and tried many of their delicious vegan paninis and burgers (21 out of 33 of them are 100% vegan! . They also sell pizzas with vegan cheese, vegan snacks like falafel, tempura veggies and french fries. All their sauces are also vegan, like veg-mayo, veg-cocktail sauce etc.. , and many of their ingredients are organic, like smoked tofu, tempeh, seitan, vegan sausages, etc... It 's incredible to find a fast food with so many vegan options, especially in Italy, and especially in Sardinia!! I really hope that one day they will manage to turn it completely into a vegan restaurant : Updated from previous review on Saturday November 30, 2013"

This place has a ton of vegan options with different kinds of vegan meats , homemade vegan cheese and so many topings and sauces. They make their own paninis from scratch so can run out! They also do pizza with a traditional dough recipe of 50 years! Hope to try it next time.e

Don 't underestimate this unassuming, modest-looking place. The paninis they serve are top notch, with tons of vegan options to choose from. They make their own vegan cheese and also have vegan margherita pizza. Try the Diablo panini!! Updated from previous review on 2023-06-02

Unfortunately I couldn’t taste the sandwich because the dough for the bread was still in leaven but I tasted a calzone with vegan cheese made by them (a stracchino very similar to that of Cashewficio) and vegetables at will and a portion of Felafel with vegan sauces. The menu is very rich and if anything I will return from those parts I will definitely taste one of their many sandwiches stuffed with 100% plant based ingredients

5/5! This is a place that's being easily overlooked but is well worth a visit. It's a small space, no real place to eat in, just a counter and a couple of chairs for waiting. The menu is large with plenty of vegan options, the food portions are insane! Paninis are priced at 6€ and are worth every cent. We recommend the Vegan Contadino Panini. Home-made special sauces are a hit, prices are low. Bring time, this place is well visited. 100% amazing.

"Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, and there is one crucial aspect that I would like to highlight: the fish served was clearly not fresh and both the manager and the chef were perfectly aware of this. Serving non-fresh products is a lack of respect towards customers and constitutes a serious health risk. We want to point out that we had a two year old child with us, and this makes the situation even more serious. The mussels were not good, the lobster spaghetti had an unpleasant aftertaste, and the grilled fish looked like it had probably been in the fridge for several days. The excuse we were given, that maybe the plate was dirty , is an explanation that doesn 't hold up. We believe that transparency and responsibility are fundamental values in a restaurant, and intentionally serving non-fresh products is unacceptable. We sincerely hope that the restaurant will take serious and concrete measures to ensure food quality and safety in the future, so that no other customers have to face a potentially harmful experience for their health. — Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, and there is a crucial aspect that we want to highlight: the seafood served was evidently not fresh, and what makes this situation even more disappointing is that both the manager and the chef were perfectly aware of it . "Whilst you're unlikely to make Porto Torres a destination given its sprawling, and rather ugly, industrial suburbs if you're ever in the area do not miss Lo Scogliolungo, a recently opened restaurant on the coast a little east of the town centre. Nicely decorated inside...with an ecletic mix of objects ranging from old lps (including Julio Iglesias warbling in Italian) to old oars from a rowboat, there is also a generous terrace looking out to sea. The tables are well spaced and everything is just about perfect. Minor blemishes during our visit were the lack of wifi, which was due to be installed the following week, and the local radio playing over the sound system (I like Bruce Springsteen but I don't need Born in the USA' with my Italian seafood). The wine list is excellent with a good range of reasonably priced local wines as well as a great selection of fine champagnes (including Crystal) if you wish to go up market and spend a fortune. The Sardinian beer is on tap. Service is great (though there were few tables during our visit so it could slow at a busier time) friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The choice and preparation of the food is first rate, and immediately on entering the restaurant there is a table groaning with the various catches of the day we had a raw seafood selection which comprised oysters, clams, limpets, red prawns, scampi among other goodies, which was memorable. Though the focus is on the sea a table nearby went for the turf rather than the surf options and seemed well satisfied whilst another table of Italians seemed to be devouring everything on the menu with relish. At least out of season there is plenty of parking outside. Long my the quality of this establishment last ! It's great."
