"Lovely chic farmhouse restaurant just outside of Milan. We were on a Sunday drive outside of the city and happened upon this place with a crowded parking lot so decided to try it for lunch since the locals always know best. We had to wait a little since we didn’t have reservations and the place was packed, but were seated comfortably by the bar with glasses of bubbly until our table was ready. The handmade tagliatelle and ravioli were absolutely divine, service was prompt and friendly, prices very good, and the ambience charming and posh. We had 2 primi, secondi, 2 glasses of Francia corta, a bottle of burgundy and caffé for €100, back home in Santa Barbara at that quality and ambiance it would have cost at least 2-3 times as much. Excellent, memorable afternoon, definitely recommend this locale and judging by their popularity, many others agree."

"we discovered the restaurant the great ship thanks to wedding. com. after asking for availability for the day of our wedding we fixed an appointment with paolo that was exceptional. the location we liked right away and with paolo we immediately understood to skin that was the top! we opted for a menu both of sea and of land and paolo suggested modifications on some dishes and associated wines. Of course he also recommended us on the type of wedding cake and the type of ad hoc menu for celiacs, lactose intolerances and for children. What to say...that day was spectacular....all the guests, we spouses included, enjoyed all the menu. excellent food and quality, impeccable service and high level of professionalism. even our dear friends from Romagna have told us to have eaten as god and that they will come to visit us also in winter to taste other delights of paolo and the legendary chef Elisa. thank you with all our paolo heart, elisa and all the wonderful staff of the great ship for making our wedding an exceptional event. a hug and soon! maize and franc"

"we were in three, no reservation, just a call 15 minutes before arriving, we found a nice place and staff very efficient, and especially helpful to meet my needs of gluten food intolerances. good dishes, and also abundant! we had fun playing games over the tablecloth... although some definition was not too clear!"

"Stasera la mia super amica, che sa benissimo che amo la pizza, mi ha portato da PrimaVera a Gaggiano. Localino intimo e molto carino e il personale squisitamente gentile. Io ho preso, su suggerimento, la pizza mezza pala che a me, onestamente, è piaciuta. Croccante e sottile e farcita adeguatamente. Ho assaggiato anche la tonno e cipolla… e la cipolla è wow!! I dolci li ho dovuti assaggiare “per forza” e onestamente il tiramisù ha risvegliato le mie papille gustative! Buonissimo, non troppo carico di caffè e crema non eccessivamente dolce! Ne vorrei ancora. Io consiglio assolutamente!!! Metto 4 stelle, perché tornerò per assaggiare gli hamburger…."
