cozy, well maintained, turned arches and exposed brick walls. even for the great affluence, we waited a bit before we could order and before the starter arrived. the dishes were however all excellent, really recommended the pici alla salsiccia and black cabbage. also the chocolate tortino with orange sauce was up to expectations.

I recently dined at Il Pino, a place that left quite an impression—though not for the reasons one might hope. The food itself was satisfactory, but the atmosphere was overshadowed by the bizarre behavior of the owner, who seemed more interested in performing antics than running a restaurant. As we were seated and began our meal, we couldn't help but notice the owner hanging from the balcony by one arm, a sight that was both alarming and distracting. He remained there throughout our entire dining experience, grunting and snuffling in a way that was impossible to ignore.
