"this is a lovely restaurant with some great food and very nice serving staff, Kostas and Francesca took care of us. However I have to say our dining experience was prevented from being 5 star due to the level of heat in the restaurant. It was quite a humid evening and the fans were working but seemed to be no aircon ; when standing up the fans provide some cooling but when sitting down I found it almost unbearably hot and wanted to eat my food as quickly as possible in order to leave. We had to order some ice.Luckily the evening cooled down a bit. Very nice staff indeed."

The noise level in the restaurant was very loud. There was an exceptionally loud table dinning at the same time as us and they really spoilt the evening for us

Simply a phenomenal experience. Quaint interior covered heated exterior and small bar in the back. Staff was beyond attentive. James has quite the place! All phases of dinner were delicious. We most certainly will return!

We ate from the standard lunch menu. The dishes were well prepared and tasted good. I could not fault anything. We shared a £60 bottle of Chianti Classico which was well worth it. We intend to return, although we live in Richmond.

Very much the real thing takes you back in time to when Italian restaurants provided a special and unique food experience. Mario Franco's restaurants come to mind. At last a Saltimbocca that compares with my very first eaten in Rome many many years ago We'll be back
