The takeaway from this restaurant is always fantastic. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the food is absolutely amazing. Don't pass up the opportunity to try it.

Bought some chicken pakora. I haven't seen or tasted anything like that before. Just awful. Even the dogs turned their noses up at it. Nice friendly service though. Won't be going back. View menu

My friend ordered the dominator burger and was quite satisfied with it. He thought it could have been a bit bigger, but overall he was happy with his choice. He described it as "the damage."

Popped in for takeaway...no sit down due to Covid..which is totally understandable...owner is amazing...service outstanding Saheed very approachable, knowledgeable, open and honest..def recommend a visit...

Food was decent, not the best I’ve had but far from the worst. Plenty of spice without being overpowering. Peshwari naan was sweet and coconutty. It does look a bit too much like a kebab shop rather than restaurant. Caterers for early dining and late night revellers. View menu

We enjoyed our Tandori chicken and Kashmiri chicken, just right portions and tasted good. The chicken was beautifully cooked. Pleased to find space on a Saturday night (other places were full). It deserves to be busier. Mainly Indian food but also does pizza and kebabs, maybe the Istanbul names refers to the latter.

Ordered a takeaway when the ferry got in and warmed it up later. Really nice people working there and above average food.. these days Indian food can be really bland but this was really tasty.I got some green chillies from tesco and chopped them up to put on it to suit my spicy taste...gorgeous. We'd go back no problem.

Solo diner looking for something to eat on a Saturday evening. Friendly welcome and reasonable menu… although still trying to work out the Istanbul/Indian connection? Popadoms and pickles, chicken bhuna, rice and a very decent… actually, very good, peshwari naan. All well cooked and presented, good flavour and reasonable price in a town where others seem to be, almost, profiteering. Don’t get me wrong… these guys are never going to earn too many awards for their food but it’s good honest cooking at a reasonable price and with a degree of sincerity/desire to offer a comfortable dining experience.
