"This is a typical venue for meals in the city. Groups of workers can enjoy an average selection of meals. The service was mixed, some attentive, but one person very surly hey everyone has off days, but please not when I am dining. The one major thing I did not like are the high chair/stools. Even my companion who is 6 feet tall said they are difficult to negotiate, certainly not conducive to sitting having a relaxing meal. Not sure if people know it is there, as it was pretty empty."

Ended up like all other guests in pizza express as it was too hard to fine. Looks like a wine bar rather than a restaurant.

Four of us went out for an informal business lunch. We order food from the grill burgers etc. Food was good, but the service was very slow. We should have been in and out within an hour, but it took 90 minutes! View menu

I live very close to this Jamie's location. It may be smaller than some other branches, but it boasts a friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff. This place is especially good for a light lunch or grabbing a drink in the evening.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed a bottle of prosecco for just £20 during happy hour, along with a selection of appetizers. The pate and Parma ham dishes were especially delicious. We will definitely return, thanks to the superb service and friendly team.

We visited early Friday evening, intending to eat before a concert, but this is more a bar than a restaurant. The menu was very sparse we ordered sharing plates which had the food been special would have been fine but it was bland and general unexciting and quite poor value. Very disappointing. View menu

I recently brought a client to Jamies Alban Gate for a business lunch. The ambiance was calming and very festive, with the scent of mulled wine spices greeting us as soon as we walked in. The food was delicious, not too extravagant, which was just right for me as there were plenty of options to choose from. I will definitely visit again.

The food was not good, there we 6 people in my group for lunch, it very quiet and empty and they did not manage to deliver all dishes together, a hoisin duck flatbread came dry without any sauce, bread for the humus was hard and cold like a biscuit, burger bun was hard and one of the dishes never arrived. They kindly offered a discount for the misshape. The venue is lovely for drinks, but if you are coming for lunch, I would not recommend it, a small bite perhaps.
