"We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after finding several other places closed on a Monday. We were greeted warmly and our order was taken promptly, including 2 cups of tea, 1 bacon panini, and 1 cheese and pepperoni panini. The tea was very hot and the best I've had in a long time. Both paninis were piping hot and the chips that came with my daughter's meal were also hot. The service was friendly and the bill came to £18, which we felt was great value for a city center location."

Bought my 3 year old granddaughter a piece of cake it was £4.50 a slice. Beans on toast £4.00. Too expensive we felt.

Food was awful all the food tested strange the waitress seem very uninterested when you spend 85 between you all you expect a nice breakfast or even a half decent one definitely not recommended View menu

Jenny's Cafe is where you want to stop for a very good meal. It's where the locals have breakfast and lunch. We've had lunch here and the soup is delicious. The menu offers so many choices. Service is friendly and efficient. This is just a great little spot for very good food!

The food was very good and so was the service. The young lady who served us was really, really beautiful! I think our eyes met a few times but unfortunately I missed out on talking to you.. So if you're reading this you can reach me at [hidden email] I was wearing a green Adidas jacket and would love to hear from you!

The portions are generous. The quality of the food is not top-notch, but you get what you pay for (just avoid ordering the ham, egg, and chips dish - the ham is thin, fried, and tastes like it came from a supermarket). The breakfasts are the highlight at this restaurant. However, don't expect friendly service. If you're not a friend or from the same nationality as the staff, you may not receive much acknowledgment. Stopped here for breakfast and wished we hadn't. I chose their Olympic breakfast which comes with baked beans and tomato I don't like either and asked them to leave these off which they did but didn't offer anything else instead. When I started eating the sausages I wished I'd chosen something else in my opinion they were the worst tasting sausages I've ever had and the texture was awful. In all honesty I couldn't recommend this place at all.

My wife and I stopped off here for a hot drink and a bite to eat after driving up from Leicester and it wasn’t too bad an experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, the café was clean and the price of food and drink wasn’t all that bad. We had tea, which was good quality, and bacon rolls, which were tasty with a lot of bacon on them, and I mean a lot. Just a good place to stop off for a sit down and refresh after the particularly long drive from our hometown.

"when we arrived, there was a 15 min waiting for a table for 4 people. that in my head was a good thing, and what can I say, but I was right. I go out for dinner and give a 5-star rating without being a bit generous, but in this case I don't have to be generous. this is really a 5-star evaluation site. the price is reasonable and this is reflected in the size of the drank. large but not too large and very fillable. the selection was good overall for lunch and tea and coffee selection was then expected to be bigger. simply note that no alcohol is served here, but is not needed, as the environment is excellent and the ethos of the caffe supports. eating was great and the selection of meat and vegan food was good. the face of the children on the sight of the child afternoon was one of the excitement, especially when you see the size of the cake. the burgerpatties were thin, but wide, homemade, like all food, cooked in a juicy juicy condition. the nuggets were diceed chicken pieces so quality from the beginning, batter was slightly spiced and cooked for perfection. not greasy or soggy or too much for the meat. best nuggets I've ever had. if they like cake and coffee, this is also the place for them with the sizes of the cake portions they will take a few home, and it is worth it. as they can say, we really enjoyed eating and put in a place that is modern with a classic touch that I felt relaxed and that eating fits the venue."
