"Went to the pub up the road from this place because of good reviews, however they didn't service food on Monday nights, so went to the nearest place to eat. The White Hart. Big mistake. The frozen peas were only just cooked and hard, the frozen French beans were soggy and tough. The mash potato's had a hard crispy top having been kept warm in an oven, and the meat pie was of chip shop quality. Only positive thing was the jug of gravy to drown it all in. All in all the worst pub meal I've ever had. In hindsight should have put the meal on the bar and walked down the road to the chip shop. Going by the food I was given I'd certainly wouldn't recommend this place."

"Top quality food with amazing service, at very reasonable prices. "Had a meal here pre booked the table for a Sunday evening for a party of 6 adults and 2 children, we was waiting at the door when we arrived no one approached us many of members of staff were walking past us and still waiting to be served I asked a waiter where we was sat. After waiting we had to ask someone if we could have menus and same again to order drinks and then order food the service was very slack and slow it wasn’t even busy! We ordered food and it took forever to come once it arrived they had multiple swaps and changes without letting us know, simple things such as peas was out of stock! The worst of all was that my daughter who i ordered a dairy free meal for got brought out a meal with dairy in! It then became that late that it was too late for the children to eat and then whilst eating our meal it was a awful experience and one of the worst service with average food and the bill come to £135 which would have been great if the service and the food was worth it too Overall very disappointed visit to what could be an incredible place. Dietary restrictions: Asked for dairy free and they forgot Kid friendliness: Colours and colour sheets high chairs provided if you get yourself"

"We visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner on a busy Wednesday night in Woodseats. We started with mussels and bruschetta, both of which were delicious. My partner had a tasty pizza, while I ordered a seafood pancake which could have had more seafood. The service was a bit slow at times, as one person was handling all the tables. It was confusing that the restaurant advertised as BYO but still charged a fee for bringing our own wine. Despite this, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the prices were reasonable."

"I spotted this place on a list of the best cafes in Sheffield and thought we 'd give it a try. It doesn 't really look much on the outside, but when you walk in it is nicely decorated, warm and welcoming. The food was really good quality and cooked well and we all enjoyed our meals very much. My toastie was particularly nice and it came with parsnip crisps and a delicious home made coleslaw and salad. My intention was to try the huge scotch egg on the menu, but I think I 'll save that for next time. I would say that it would have been nice to have a paper copy of a menu to browse at the table. It did feel a little uncomfortable standing up staring over other people eating their meals to read the blackboard as we couldn 't see it properly where we were sat. My mother-in-law couldn 't read the writing so it was taking ages for me to relate the menu to her. We enjoyed our experience at 'That Place ' and would definitely like to visit again. The Chef obviously knows what he 's doing and delivers a good plate of quality food. But, little things can make a difference, and a menu at the table would make it a more comfortable experience."
