"I have been a regular here for years and love their brunch and cakes. Service always good etc. I now have a baby and decided to meet friends here for lunch I find really disappointing they do not have any baby changing facilities. There is a big spacious toilet upstairs but no table or pull out unit, when I asked one of the staff she suggested changing my 3 month old on the toilet floor. Disgusting! Luckily I had my own mat but trying to kneel on the sticky floor and not touch anything whilst changing a nappy is less than ideal. This is the kind of place that mums would love to go for coffee and lunch but completely impractical if you have a little one. Sadly I won’t be returning as I cannot change my baby whilst there! I also want to add that I gave them feedback via DM on Instagram but was ignored which I find incredibly rude. Maybe the staff at Juliette’s aren’t parents…"

Chef left early so lunch not available. When phone 30 mins earlier and said I would arrive just before closing- told fine but obviously not. Lazy and lying staff. Do not go.

The staff are pleasant but too busy for interaction. Service was slow today . I enjoyed my coffees but the brunch is presented without the flourish of most establishments of this calibre. My daughter’s sourdough was the two ‘ends’, served with a palette knife ? , no garnish , minimal butter. Disappointing. The prices are high-end .

This lovely café on the old High Street is a small but delightful gem. As an independent establishment, it surpasses any chain cafés that serve bland drinks in a polystyrene cup. Here, you can enjoy proper tea in a charming and relaxing atmosphere, all while receiving friendly and welcoming service (with a smile that all corporate conglomerates should take note of). And don't forget about the delicious cake!

Visited Tunbridge Wells on way home from the south coast, Juliet’s, another recommend that was spot on. Initially the small and densely packed little space felt a little overwhelming, but the deliciousness of the bakes, the loveliness of the staff soon made you forget the sardine Like seating. The scones and cakes are absolutely delicious, the service is great and the presentation perfect. Not the cheapest but definitely a great find.

Today, we went to Juliette to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. When we arrived at 2 pm, we discovered that most of the menu items were already sold out. My wife ordered a small piece of fish, and I had a vegetable tartlet. We found the portions to be small and the prices to be high. The total cost of the meal, including drinks, was £18. We were disappointed with the experience and ended up buying sandwiches at Sainsbury's local on our way home. Overall, it was a disappointing birthday lunch.

I recently discovered this hidden gem of a tea room with a friend who shares my love for homemade cakes. The selection of cakes was fantastic, even in the afternoon, and they were delicious. I even took a piece home! My coffee was made perfectly to my liking - very weak with skimmed milk. My friend enjoyed her tea, especially the warmed pot that kept it hot. The tea sets were lovely, with unique teapots, and there was plenty of milk provided so she could have multiple cups without needing more milk. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend. Thank you!

Never been to Tonbridge Wells before but picked this for breakfast after having a hot air balloon flight nearby. Perfect place to go after an exciting adventure. The service was excellent, really friendly. The menu was unique, with good choices not seen anywhere else. I had The Stack. Not normally one for a vegetarian dish, this was so tasty and very filling. I didn't need the extra sausage and egg I ordered! My partner had the scrambled egg on toast with extra salmon and avocado. Two fantastic dishes. The lemon feather cake was delicious and I got a sausage roll to take away. Wish we lived in Tonbridge Wells so could go more often!

A rare visit back to Tunbridge Wells and good to see Juliet’s still going strong and becoming something of a local institution. It is still quirky with its mismatched furniture and crockery and wonderful window display of tempting cakes. It needs to be as good as it looks to stand out from the crowd, and the identikit coffee shops. Well, visit for breakfast didn’t disappoint. Had to wait for the door to open ay 8.30 the place was soon busy. Excellent breakfast always on the quest for the perfect scrambled egg, and this was first rate. Freshly cooked, nicely presented with chives and excellent coffee. Pleasant service too. Looking forward to another visit.

"Firstly I would like to say that this restaurant has just been refurbished, and it didn’t feel like an Italian restaurant, more like a cafe at the beach somewhere! It felt very sparse and most Italian restaurants I e been to have proper tablecloths on the table but these were plastic and I noticed one table it was tapped up underneath, in my opinion it needs to be made more warmly and have more of a family feel. The food was really nice, although I would advise anyone to make sure they double check their order as I chose chicken in a sauce really nice which came with vegetables but I also asked for a separate portion of potatoes, when it arrived I just had chicken with a few cut up potatoes and a very very small garnish of salad ! I mentioned this to the waitress who had taken our order and she said I know but the chef had given you extra salad !! Sorry but salad is not vegetables , it clearly said on the menu it came with vegetables. Having said about the above issue, the meals we all had were nice and the staff gave us a very warm welcome and because of the blip they said we could have a free pudding…..not sure if we all did or it was just mine but I never see the bill as we were treated to this. To finish the evening off we were given a lovely limoncello shot. We would definitely go back. Thankyou for a lovely evening in your restaurant"
