"the menus of the easternmost restaurants are often very interchangeable and so it becomes somewhat boring, especially when the focus is on fish. I was looking for some more courageous, more creative menus (without pampering the bourgeois food) on holiday and met the hotel dunes of the beach. a menu was not visible online, but some found Spe photos convinced, and since it was the sister hotel of the Eastseelounge, I was thrilled to discover. Of course, we did not expect the star kitchen of the East Sea Lounge, but a sophisticated and creative cuisine. I reserved online and our reservation request was confirmed immediately. We arrived at the hotel in time. the location fantastic right by the sea, here was not promised too much. After a short waiting period we were greeted by the friendly and very well maintained restaurant manager. during the waiting period we were able to display the current menus in front of the restaurant. an attractive 4 floor menu for € 45,00 and the current menu with 4 appetizers, 2 soups, 6 main dishes and 3 desserts. that has read all very well. After our vaccination status was found for a worthy one, the lady accompanied us on our reserved table. the dressing room was removed and the chairs were raised directly at the place. We sat there. comfortable and in a very pleasant environment. and waited. personal lack we could not find. but lack of coordination and attention. the menu was served after only 20 minutes. but without the cheaper menu of the day. since we were thirsty, we ordered a bottle of rare mineral water. this was made with a proud € 8,00 0,75 l. in the main house with the star restaurant ostseelounge we only € 6,80 0.75 l. the “fine” difference corresponded to the further course of the evening. our request for an aperitif was asked. Surprisingly fast our appetizers were served: for my husband: tatar vom rind, woke, kapern, saiblingskaviar, schalotten € 18,00. Bark tar small, not well cut (possibly grounded) meat. the lighting at the table was not so great, not to convince meat quality or spices. beautifully dressed, but also the companions did not bring joy. my starter selection for Argentine red carnations, cranberries, wild herbs, truffle potato € 18,00 caused only confusion. Absolut klasse Lage, toller Ausblick aufs Meer, Preise für die Qualität zu teuer. Seezunge für 98 Euro für 2 Personen nicht saftig, Gemüse dazu einzeln im Ofen gebacken und nett auf dem Teller dekoriert aber trocken !

Das Essen zum Valentinstag in der Kaminstube haben wir sehr genossen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, besonders freundlich, aufmerksam und zügig. Die Qualität des Essens war ausgezeichnet und die Weinauswahl riesig. Die Preise sind sehr gehoben, was sicher dem 5-Sterne-Hotel geschuldet ist. Das Gesamtkonzept passt aber aus unserer Sicht. Das Restaurant im Hotel passt so nicht ins Bild. Das Hotel und dessen Betrieb ist makellos, das Restaurant lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ich habe keine Vorstellung davon, was der oder die Köche mit der Speisekarte und den Portionen erreichen wollen, das Ziel der Zufriedenheit der Gäste wird definitiv verfehlt. Das Essen ist geschmacklich herausragend, die Portionsgrößen sind lächerlich. Ich würde gerne sogar noch mehr bezahlen, wenn ich davon satt werden könnte. Wir hatten uns auf das Prädikat kinderfreundlich bei Google verlassen, mussten vor Ort jedoch feststellen, dass wir abgewiesen wurden: Für Familien mit Kindern unter 16 Jahren keine Bedienung. "our last two days of holiday in dierhagen were on Monday. I've reserved the phone in the local blinker. the menu was not visible here online, so we trusted in positive voice on the net. the positive vote with my phone reservation continued. the man on the phone confirms flott and friendly my reservation request. when we arrived. . Parking is available to the hotel and restaurant guest in front of the house. already the very well maintained outdoor area with park-like garden made a first and very good impression. . arrived at the hotel lobby welcomed us a friendly staff. Reservation and proof of inoculation have been checked quickly. inside took over a standing service worker and accompanied us on the reserved table. beautiful place, attractive covered, comfortable seating. the entire dining room was probably only recently renovated. . convenient distances between tables, reinforced tablecloths and fabric napkins. fresh Dahlias, perhaps from her own garden, brought strong color-upfers into the restaurant room. I liked the ceiling lights that were probably inspired by the amber. the lighting in the restaurant very pleasant. . with better trained rest, initially quite serious and vocabulary, the service owner gave us the cards and asked for first drinks. as usual, we ordered a bottle of mineral water. this was only 0.5 l dose € 4.90 followed later a second bottle. for aperitif we chose both aperol sprizz € 7,50. we stumbled in the thoughtful and unloaded menu.
