Pity that the team is no longer selling famous Tetrapoden souvenirs, but great place, good food, super service at reasonable price level. Especially the view and location directly at beach side marvelous !!!

Very good lunch, nice rustic atmosphere right on the beach. My husband had a delicious schnitzel, daughters and I had steak, currywurst and pasta w/mushrooms. We all enjoyed our meals and stayed dry out of the rain! Service was friendly and would eat there again!

Prices Are moderate. We spent 50 EUR for 3 Mains and 5 Drinks . It's a Beach Restaurant Service was friendly and prompt Kap-horn is a very nice beach to spend the day if you don't mind some FKK). Many smokers at the restaurant's...entrance I don't smoke) . Fresh and simple .

in a small beach cottage with local around, the atmosphere is delightful. the decor was basic, the service was good and the food was all they would expect from a beach dinner. the portions were enormous, and the local favorites looked out to be sausage and chips! for a pure beach experience that is quite German, it is a must!

We found this restaurant when walking in the dunes in Hörnum at the southermost tip of Sylt. We were able to sit in a Strandkorb and take shelter from the wind. The service at the Kap-Horn is friendly and effective. The food was very good,...fresh and nicely decorated on he plates. We liked this relatively quiet place much more than the other much more crowded in-places further north (e.g. Sansibar).

We reserved a table at 18:30 got there a bit earlier and our table was ready and it had our name on it. We were warmly greeted ordered drinks and our beer came Pünktlich and cold. We ordered dinner the main courses were well prepared...and perfect! The owners were very attentive and nice to all guests! We could not have asked for a more delicious Rump steak medium Rosa the inside was perfect! Thank you for your wonderful food and great service!

the restaurant itself is also very simple a little dirty with very dirty windows! for Sylt standards, however, the prices are fair and that eating is in order. we had both grilled fish (sea bass,) which was very beautiful. the kartoffels were a bit old, but not so bad. the wine was a perfect temperature and really good (whiteburgunder.) the staff is friendly and accommodating. Of course, the highlight of the sunset on the beach after dinner is simply amazing and a visit in the restaurant is only worth it!

a classic beach restaurant in a beautiful environment. sitting outside on the bank with a good chilled white is already remarkable. our lunch was similar, as quantity and quality surprised us. the rumpsteak (husumer rind) was prepared at the place, krusty. on the outside, but tender and juicy in the inner. the thorny and mushrooms simply perfect the choir of the nested boar was extraordinary. the cut of the meat creates an exceptionally thick and large cut, because it holds the outer fat edge. all in all: recommended.

We have been to this restaurant after a short trip via bus to Hörnum. It looked nice from the outside so we decided to give it a try. There is an outside sitting area with wicker basket chairs as well as a roofed area where...it is allowed to smoke as it is outside. If you don 't like the smoke, get in. The interior looked nice, similar than other places on Sylt. All looked well maintained, the toilets are cleaned on a regular basis. We had a Currywurst and fries each. The servings were very big for a relatively low price of 6,90 €. It was good, too much for us as we thought it would be smaller. Drink prices were a little higher but low compared to other restaurants in Sylt. Service was ok,...
