"if this evaluation is based on eating alone, I would give this restaurant 5 stars. the atmosphere is very beautiful - the facility is traditional Moroccan and they have a beautiful terrace that can be used with beautiful weather. we arrived at 18:00 when they opened to dinner. we were warmly welcomed and led to a table in the courtyard. the waiter brought us rose water to wash hands, which was a nice gesture. as an appetizer we ordered the zalouk (Auberginen-Tomaten-Püree) and the Merguez-Salat. it took a long time before the appetizers arrived, but we assumed that it was because we were the first customers and they just started in the kitchen. both were very good - especially the merguez, which I thought were made on the ground. zalouk is meant to be created with brot, and only a few minutes after the zalouk was brought to the table, nothing was served. the waiter apologized and said it was just done. it tasted very good. we finished our appetizers and waited for the lead. we hadn't had it in a hurry, but when the minutes passed, we started to ask ourselves what was going on. the waiter came over several times and it was obvious that we had eaten our appetizers, but he did not pay attention. then he appeared with a tablet that we considered our order - and served a table with customers who had arrived and ordered almost half an hour. my man then asked where our food was and why the other customers were served first. the waiter replied that he wanted to give us time to finish our appetizers - we naturally pointed out that we were ready before 1/2 hour. it took 15 minutes until our main dish was served. my man had the merguez couscous and I had the lamb with plum tajine. both was delicious. the lamb was tender, without bones and the broth was well seasoned. the dish was served in a traditional tajine. it was served a little brot, but not enough. we might have ordered tee and dessert, but were somewhat upset about the service and decided to return to our hotel instead for a slumber drink."

we found kasbah great! we discovered it when our restaurant first choice was closed - we then passed the kasbah and the inner looked warm and welcoming. the food and service were great, our meals were full of taste and it was a good value for money. we were glad we were stumbled on it!

Another day in Berlin, another delicious dinner in an ethnic restaurant. This is a Moroccan restaurant that is quite elegant, beautifully decorated and extremely welcoming. The tangines--both lamb and vegetarian--were amazing. Light as can be but full of complex flavors. The soups and eggplant appetizers were also tasty and light. Considering that we had a bottle of good French Pinot Noir and the bill for two only came to just over €60 make it a good value as well. Try it when in Berlin.

OMG, this place was amazing. I felt as though me and my dining companions were transported to an exotic, magical land where the room was darkly lit, rich tapestries and wooden panels adorn the walls, the tea scented with mint, and the server is too beautiful for words. We had a wonderful meal of vegetarian tagine with cous cous, marinated carrots and salad. Flavors were amazing, complex and euphoric. Some of the most tasty vegetarian cuisine I have stumbled upon. An incredible experience.

sat outside in a simple but elegant courtyard with tiled tables and warm wooden/iron furniture. inside even more beautiful for a restaurant with modest trips. many vegetarian and gluten-free selection (was with a friend who eats such). wonderful Middle Eastern aromas - highly recommended the appetizer from flocty chicken pastries ( obviously not vegetarian or gluten-free). we shared eating in family style and had more than enough to eat. the service was very warm, good-natured and friendly, though not particularly attentive (but we didn't have it in a hurry, and that was probably clear to them). rosenwasser handwashing at the beginning of eating was a very nice geste.

Big disappointment. This beautiful restaurant has unfortunately immediately lost its charme as soon as the manager told us to either order food (we were some old friends that met for tea and sweets in the evening) or leave the restaurant. After asking why the menu said restaurant and coffeehouse the owner argued that this is the old menu, and the business card only indicate it is a restaurant he added in a harsh tone that he cannot only serve us tea as he has to cover his costs . Everything but smart management and rewarding new guests. And anything but the ambiance of the Arabic tea relaxation culture I know. Anyhow. We were unwilling to look for a new place that night, so we decided to ord...
