"if this evaluation is based on eating alone, I would give this restaurant 5 stars. the atmosphere is very beautiful - the facility is traditional Moroccan and they have a beautiful terrace that can be used with beautiful weather. we arrived at 18:00 when they opened to dinner. we were warmly welcomed and led to a table in the courtyard. the waiter brought us rose water to wash hands, which was a nice gesture. as an appetizer we ordered the zalouk (Auberginen-Tomaten-Püree) and the Merguez-Salat. it took a long time before the appetizers arrived, but we assumed that it was because we were the first customers and they just started in the kitchen. both were very good - especially the merguez, which I thought were made on the ground. zalouk is meant to be created with brot, and only a few minutes after the zalouk was brought to the table, nothing was served. the waiter apologized and said it was just done. it tasted very good. we finished our appetizers and waited for the lead. we hadn't had it in a hurry, but when the minutes passed, we started to ask ourselves what was going on. the waiter came over several times and it was obvious that we had eaten our appetizers, but he did not pay attention. then he appeared with a tablet that we considered our order - and served a table with customers who had arrived and ordered almost half an hour. my man then asked where our food was and why the other customers were served first. the waiter replied that he wanted to give us time to finish our appetizers - we naturally pointed out that we were ready before 1/2 hour. it took 15 minutes until our main dish was served. my man had the merguez couscous and I had the lamb with plum tajine. both was delicious. the lamb was tender, without bones and the broth was well seasoned. the dish was served in a traditional tajine. it was served a little brot, but not enough. we might have ordered tee and dessert, but were somewhat upset about the service and decided to return to our hotel instead for a slumber drink."
