"Have previously called here for a drink, we decided to come for Sunday lunch and were extremely disappointed. It was the worst carvery we have ever had. Served in some kind of back room, we were not allowed to put our own vegetables on, as is usual with a carvery. My partner was not happy with the fact that the chef picked up the roast potatoes in his (gloved) hands and put them on his plate. The choice of veg was very limited and the peas were mushy, which i have never known on a carvery. We couldnt even put our own gravy on. They obviously want to limit the amount one gets as our portions were meagre. The waitress was absolutely lovely and professional. The meal was not hot and the roast potatoes seemed old and were virtually inedible dry , hard and like leather. We had to request some new ones but suspected they were merely been heated up ones, not much better than the originals. This was the first time we had gone out for Sunday lunch for ages and travelled a long way to it but we certainly will never dine here again. As i said, the worst carvery i have ever had, by far."

What a find. Lovely evening meal, great choice, quality and value. Staff from the minute we arrived were fab and very welcoming and friendly. This was a stop over with our motorhome, and had a great nights sleep.

Food was well cooked and there was a good choice in three sized portions. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Despite a busy flow of clients there was no rush to leave table. Definitely one my list to visit at fairly regular intervals,

Caravan site small and adequate. 16amp hookup. WC and wash basins available to use inside Manor Hotel, very clean facilities. Saturday evening ate in the Restaurant. Excellent meal. Friendly waiter and staff. Location perfect for area ie Castleford, Normanton, Selby, Pontefract. Will certainly return. View menu

1 Staff members attitude and then no response when I raised it. We hoped this would be our new local Sunday lunch spot. Sadly, Screaming at a 2 year old is not appropriate. Then when another little girl said “excuse me, she’s just a baby” Staff member responded with “I don’t care” She was stood on a very low wall.

We all felt very welcome at the restaurant, including our little Violet. The staff were attentive, friendly, and down to earth. Violet was treated like royalty with water and dog biscuits provided. The restaurant is very dog-friendly, and the owners' dogs are lovely as well. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the homemade chips. We will definitely be returning. Thank you! View menu

We decided to visit Kellington Manor for a late lunch based on recommendations from our friends, and we were not disappointed. The welcome was very friendly, and they were also very dog-friendly. The decor of the manor was tasteful, bright, and fresh. The staff were all very welcoming, and we ordered drinks and selected our meals from their 2 for 1 menu. The food was fantastic - some of us had the carvery, which was described as tasting like a home-cooked Sunday roast. I opted for the steak and ale pie, which had a delicious flaky pastry and was packed with rich, tasty meat. Overall, our experience was excellent - the staff were friendly, the food was delicious and well-prepared. I would hig...

We were returning from a trip and decided to stop at Kelington Manor for dinner. It was the best decision we could have made. Upon arriving in the car park, a staff member informed us that the landlord was fetching a walker for my sister so she wouldn't have to use her walking stick. This level of service brought tears to my eyes - it truly made us feel like royalty. We were seated at a suitable table and our order was taken promptly. The food was served piping hot and tasted delicious. The service was impeccable and the bill was quite reasonable for what we had ordered. I offered to return the walker myself, but the landlord insisted on accompanying us to the car park and helping my sister...
