"Lovely old character pub, good selection of Ales and Lagers. Very quiet on the weekday evening our group visited so plenty of seating available inside and out. We were made to feel welcome and were looked after well by the sole bar person on duty. Kitchens were not open at the time we visited and they were advertising for a chef and waiting staff so no food available. A pleasant evening in a lovely old pub dating back to the 1830s, plenty of character and original features. Limited car parking but easily comfortable enough to accommodate our group."

a word describes everything about this original little pub 'amazing', personal, atmosphere, eating to die for! cordial friendly staff. the most inconspicuous atmosphere, nothing is too much annoying, I highly recommend it!

Yesterday I visited googling pubs with playgrounds, as it needed a place to stop before you drive to home with three little ones. the pub was beautiful inside! beautiful menu and outside had terrace heatings for which we were grateful. also the natives were friendly and accommodating to the little ones. Come back here.
