"After my day at work and as I am new to the area I thought I’d visit my local. The Kings Head in Filby Was not disappointed. The greeting was great and friendly. Obviously the reason to be there was a pint. Great selection even a Christmas Ale. The barlady was very good and made anyone arriving very welcome I believe the Name was Debbie So I’m glad I have a decent little local which may I say does a cracking pint. Top Draw"

The village is charming with its hanging baskets and other decorations. The exterior of the pub matches the village's aesthetic. We opted to sit outside and found the inside toilets to be very clean. The interior of the pub did not meet my expectations and it does not make me eager to come back.

so a warm welcome, felt at home immediately. as Sunday it was good, we had the bark meat that came with at least 5 veg. the food was fresh and very delicate. followed with apple strudel and custard. decor modern, and bright with a very well equipped bar, to count too many gins. will definitely be back to visit.

I searched for a pub for Sunday lunch online, and this one popped up. When we arrived, it was fully booked, but the manager was very accommodating and managed to find us a table. The roast dinner we had was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again when we return. The staff were very welcoming.

Our family of 4 visited on Good Friday lunchtime for Fish Chips. Fish was lovely and fresh. Brownie was home made and gooey in the middle- the kids shared an adults portion. The service was amazing. We were warmly welcomed. The landlord couldn’t do enough to help us and make sure we had everything we needed and the kids were happy. Definitely worth a visit :

During our visit to a holiday park, we tried four pubs for a meal but were turned away because some stopped serving at 2pm and others didn't allow dogs. We were grateful to have found this restaurant, where the landlord went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's picky eating habits. The food was delicious, and the staff and local patrons were friendly.

We called in for a quick bite of supper. Not been before despite it being just down the road. Very quite, but it was a Tuesday evening. New chefs first night on duty. A pleasant enough meal. The atmosphere was okay, but not many folks on. The bar staff were very friendly and made us felt welcome. Great range of find on offer. We will be going back soon but probably on a weekend when I would it will be a bit more lively.
