"Today we were in the klosterhof in the maxhaus and feel betrayed! friends had given us a good license that we wanted to redeem. in the restaurant was not ready to accept this. start-up: we had to say divorced before - but that was nowhere noted. We have not only been surprised by the fact that we have not only been able to know, but in particular the unfriendly way in which we have been treated. also attempts to mediation were rejected - not only by the unfriendly employee, but also by the arrogant chef who was added. I got too stupid and I paid the bill, but I'm sure I won't come back. To eat - I'm trying to stay fair despite everything: eating was good medium. endiviensalat with truffled potato dressing and fried kalbsbries. much salate, little bries - in so far bad price/rental ratio. filet vom spanferkel has been too long in the pan. the dessert ( pumpkin and pumpkin seed ice cream) was very good. The wee was unfortunately too warm. the bottle of water under five euro a positive exception compared to other houses.Factory: average eating with bad service - there are also much better in the old town of düsseldorf.Ah yes: you can not only pay with the voucher of the house, but also with no card (also not ec or maestro). it is not modern."

a particularly courteous and warm young lady in the service, who already knows what you want before you say it - thank you!

the cakes are simple and delicious. the ambiente and the service are really good. I feel comfortable in this restaurant. I think this is also a good place to read a book while drinking coffee.

rarely experienced such a nice and young service power! competent and flink swirls it through the huge klosterhof and prepares its guests a wonderful stay there. the food has its price, but I like to pay more if it is particularly delicious and that is it!

located in a slightly quieter part of the old town of düsseldorf, this restaurant offers a very clear but ingenious menu at moderate prices. The service is friendly and efficient. We were there with 4 people at lunchtime and were very satisfied. the tables are designed for only 2 people, too small for 4 people. We are happy to come back View menu

and not alone. we were there for a wonderful evening and we were pampered with a 5-course menu and repeatedly surprised to the new, through the creations from the kitchen. the bistro has a rather cool atmosphere, which however forms a great contrast to the surrounding building. the glass roof has given us a look at the first super blue sky and then the stars.

we are always happy to go to the max house when we are looking for an opportunity to discuss something with partners - without being disturbed and without disturbing others. the bistro in the courtyard is architecturally really great. The offer and the quality of the food also fits the happiness. Minorities, such as the klostermax or the filled nudes are always good and the current map is also tempting. but think about cash!

Unfortunately we were disappointed yesterday by the autumn menu offered. Not only that the services were overwhelmed with the amount of guests, for example, on a two table only one food was served and only after a long time wait the second, so the first food was only warm. Unfortunately, even eating was only mediocre, there was no highlight in the individual courses. You could eat it and that's all. I liked the dessert, especially the marillen cream brulee was successful. But that's not enough for five walks. View menu

we were three in the klosterhof. already the ambiente disappointed. it was one of the first days of the sun this year, yet not as flooded with light as I would have liked it with the dachdom. table and chairs made of plastic and rather remembers kantine. at noon still ok, I would not want to take an dinner here. eat more average and much too expensive. spaghetti carbonara almost 13,- euro, although delicious but a very, very small portion. flaky cake below average. my man had fish, quite neat, but also much too expensive. the only light view was the olive oil, which was served to the brot - but we will certainly not come back.

Finding a gourmet restaurant in a historic location in düsseldorf is not so easy as during the second world war a large part of the city was destroyed. to my surprise, however, there is at least one place, the klosterhof (besides the Catholic church) and although the architecture is somewhat appealing and invites them to explore further, eating is pointed notch, very good quality, with French and creative cuisine influential. the covered terrace has been converted into a restaurant, although often reserved for events (it has a lot of space, also for a stage.) I tried a (main) dress, the tub gurnard accompanied by green spargel, romescosauce and green risotto. to dessert I ordered the cassis...
