"in their vegan version in restaurants they rarely find local (German, especially schabische) dishes. the restaurant khler, which lies with the hotel khler, offers some of it. ksesptzle (swaben mac n käse), meatball with potato salad and carving can be found on their vegan menu section. the couple that runs the business is very friendly, welcoming and the atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable, a mix between traditional rustic and modern. They also have two super dogs that are cooled in the restaurant. good vegan ksesptzle can be difficult (consistency and taste direction, mostly because they are made in its original with really strong cheese), but they were delicious. the meatballs more like kidney bean patents (and not as dense as meatballs), but seasoned well ordered and the potato salad as well as very tasty! as dessert we enjoyed pancake crpes (not on the menu, cook daniela made them for us. I also noticed that the vegan dishes are cheaper then those with meat! that I appreciate! beautiful experience! safe ideal to come with omnivorous friends and family! updated by the previous review on 2020-02-27"

Small (like 17 rooms), family run hotel with a wonderful Bernardine reception desk! Very cozy, with warm atmosphere personally I was very nice surprised. 4 stars as there is no Wi Fi! View menu

Well located hotel near the Cannstatter Wasen. The tram is almost directly at the hotel. The rooms are OK. The special hotel is the operators. Not to exceed by kindness and helpfulness. This is how you imagine hospitality.

I wanted to give 5 stars, but this is obviously not possible for non-vegan restaurants. I had the best Swabian food here: the carving and the beetle. they also have different vegan desserts, just ask them. the owner is very nice and they also have non-vegans eating, so it is a good place to visit with their non-vegan friends. just go!

Be careful with checking time as there is no flexibility on weekends after 4pm. The owner canceled my booking as I was in heavy traffic with my child (with an ETA around18h00). Why not like other hôtel arrange a code to get the keys? If your needs are above the client’s needs maybe hostel is not really your ideal career. Hopefully I did get a refund. View menu

Very friendly and courteous staff with two cuddly dogs. I was welcomed very warmly and had a perfect stay. Everything was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooms are quiet and we're perfect for a good night's rest. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded my expectations! Everything one could wish for! I also had very engaging conversations with my host and I am looking forward for my next stay in this location!

I stayed here for a business trip since most of the typical business friendly hotels were booked. The first thing I noticed is the hospitality, the owners are a very friendly couple willing to help with whatever you need, including the hotel dog who might come to check you out but is harmless. This is a more traditional German hotel versus any of the large chains. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. I stayed in a room with a private bathroom so I can't speak to the shared bathrooms. They explained that they're testing the Wi-Fi but I found it good most of the time, more so in my room versus the lobby. The best part was the breakfast which was made to order local eggs and meats and c...
