The restaurant atmosphere is very nice and it’s a great place for a special occasion. However I feel the food was very expensive. £7-12 for a single piece of nigiri felt a bit much. The beer and sake were great.

Do not anticipate genuine Japanese cuisine at this restaurant. It leans more towards Americanized Japanese dishes. For instance, the 'tempura' is made with a regular batter, not traditional tempura. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and is clearly quite popular.
