Excellent atmosphere and service!! Lack of staff to serve the tables. Despite the efforts of the waiters, there are delays in being served.

After 20 minutes of waiting without even a glance from the bar waitresses (3 for 5/6 customers) we decide to go elsewhere to spend our money. Too bad, the place is very pretty. We won't come back.

Positiv aufgefallen ist, dass es mehrere vegane Vprspeisen und Hauptgerichte (3) zur Auswahl hatte. Glace und Sorbets und eine vegane Apfel Tarte mit Caramel Glace bildeten die Dessert Auswahl. Bedienung sehr nett, Wartezeiten waren etwas lange, aber das Lokal war auch gut besucht View menu

Superb restaurant, everything is very good. Great atmosphere, excellent meal and always quality despite a large number of visitors. The only downside is the reception staff who really seem to be stressed by a very large number of reservations. I highly recommend this address in Bern!

Bern is one of the most beautiful and pleasant cities in Switzerland. With a lot of charming places to explore. One of those places that deserves a visit is the Kornhauskeller. It 's both a bar and a restaurant in a breathtaking basement. If you choose to eat, then make sure to make a reservation. If you just want to sip a cocktail or other fine drink, then you can just take a seat at the bar or in one of the lounge chairs. Obviously it 's not the cheapest place but given the location right in the city centre and the atmosphere, it 's worth it.

They used to have more, but currently there 's two vegan main dishes (one of which local specialty with planted meat and they have a salad, starter and three desserts to go with it. Good but not fantastic. But the location is a sight to be seen. Wow. A huge vault in a 300 year old building, tastefully lit, with a bar on mid floor. If you 're in the area and they 're open (they close between lunch and dinner , then I suggest you consider this one or at least drop in for a peek.
