"It took us several attempts to track down this place and several more to actually eat there. Having driven along the road and cycled along the cycle route I managed to not see it. The restaurant website seemed unhelpful with its map but following its...directions from the cycle path we found it. Then arriving at opening time twelve noon in early September we found it was fully booked. Later that afternoon we decided to try and book for lunch the following day. Fully booked again as rain was expected and the covered tables were already booked. This place must be good we thought and at noon the next day we stopped again as it was not raining and persuaded them to let us sit outside and risk getting wet. Well worth the effort and as the sun tried to come out we were joined by several other hardy folk prepared to risk the breeze and overcast weather. We had No.2 oysters presented on a bed of seaweed followed by a whole crab both served with brown bread and butter and washed down with a carafe of local rose wine. Every thing on offer seemed fresh from the sea. So a great place to eat but best book and check the weather forecast."

A lovely cabane with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Oysters and Parloudes (clams) are grown here and are so fresh, plump and delicious. Served in baskets on a bed of seaweed and with rye bread the seafood looks and tastes superb. We love cycling here from Ars en Re and enjoying a leisurely lunch in the sun with a pichet of wine. Perfect!

A very basic absolute treat. Simple seafood fare . Much of it raw and absolutely fresh. Gambas are presented to you live before cooking - so couldn't be fresher. Not child friendly but this is best appreciated by adults anyway! A simple cabin - type restaurant within a marsh - good no nonsense fare and service with a smile. Added bonus: great ambient blues music played as background.

Yes very rustic with only a fruits de mer menu really (special of semi cured sardines when we visited) but we loved it. The freshest crevette and the special of sardines were delicious. I was hoping for a little cheese to finish but only a goat's was offered so a lovely rice pudding with salted caramel was enjoyed. A bottle of rose and a bill of €60. Ensure you book though as lots of people being turned away.
