"We were welcomed warmly by a charming young lady and shown to our table beside a very welcome open fire . The fabulous service continued . Our waiter Louis was helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The meal was exceptional. The veal tomahawk was the best I’ve...ever tasted. The pumpkin soup delicious and the beef burger also enjoyed by our friend. I have always enjoyed this restaurant but this year it definitely surpasses all the others in the vicinity. Keep up the good work, too many of the restaurants on the mountain , no longer know the meaning of customer care."

Visit the snack bar service side of the restaurant and order the cheese burger with chips. 15 euros which is cheap for Courchevel. I would say my favourite on the mountain!!!

In spite of new ownership, this place is still La Casserole and as such is a great snack and beer stop off. Fine dining it isn't and I would aleays prefer another 10 minute ski to get back up to Bel Air.

The casserole is truly a place to avoid in Courchevel, expensive, food worst than Mc Donald, and the service is below expectation. You do no feel welcome and you need to wake up the waiters to be served !

La Casserole just keeps getting better and better. Accessed from a range of slopes it's a great place to sit and watch on the terrace, either for drinks, snacks or lunch. A great stop. Best of all? Easy access loos - very important when in ski boots!

The Casserole changed hands a few years ago and "upgraded" itself into a smarter place to lunch at and coming from various points of the Trois Vallees. It has reduced prices somewhat since the new opening .Food is good, generally, but the wine list is expensive, in my opinion.

We were pleasantly surprised; right on the lift ‘signal’ pleasant chalet atmosphere; we ordered 4 mains incl. lobster pasta , scallop risotto ; all very tasty stylishly presented. With a 65 euro wine a bill of 265 euros for 4 was well deserved for great...food friendly service. Not cheap but has one of the most extensive wine lists. View menu

Here for lunch skiing in Courchevel. We stopped at the snack half of the restaurant. The tables were full of dirty glasses. The waiting staff (especially the tall coloured chap) were awful. Waited ages to take the order and when he came was completely disinterested. We ordered burgers and chips and they arrived in little paper boxes all looking very smart but the burgers were poor. Small patties, dry rolls and outrageously salty fries. For the service and the food alone it's definitely one to avoid on future visits!

Avoid Casserole. Staff are very ignorant and certainly not make you welcome. We visited one day during the stay in the 3 Vallees, while we waited for others to join us, we waited at the entrance. To our shock a waiter appeared and asked to move from the entrance. We explained that we would not hinder the entrance and the rest of our group would arrive shortly. To our shock he took some of our skis and fled them to one side. Then he started to insult us. At this point we decided at noon and realized why the restaurant was empty. A very disappointing experience.
